అంతర్జాతీయ యోగా డే (జూన్ 21) సందర్భంగా విశాఖపట్నంలో నిర్వహించనున్న ఘన కార్యక్రమానికి సంబంధించి ఏర్పాట్లను సోమవారం ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు సమీక్షించారు. ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ పాల్గొననున్న ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్వహించనుంది.
విశాఖ ఆర్కే బీచ్ వేదికగా ఐదు లక్షల మంది పాల్గొనేలా భారీ ఏర్పాట్లు జరుగుతున్నాయి. బీచ్ పక్కన జరిగే యోగా కార్యక్రమ ఏర్పాట్లను సీఎం ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరిశీలించారు. యోగాంధ్ర 2025 నోడల్ అధికారి ఎం.టి. కృష్ణబాబు, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ హరెంథిర్ ప్రసాద్ సీఎం‌కు వివరాలు అందించారు.
607 సచివాలయాల సిబ్బంది యోగా డేకు హాజరయ్యే ప్రజలతో సమన్వయం చేయనున్నారు. ముందుగా నమోదైనవారికి ఎలాంటి అసౌకర్యం కలుగకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. జూన్ 21న ఉదయం 6:30 నుంచి 8:00 వరకు మాక్ యోగా నిర్వహించాలన్నారు.
ప్రధాని హాజరవుతుండటంతో భద్రత చర్యలను బలపరిచారు. వాహనాల పార్కింగ్, ట్రాఫిక్‌కు ప్రత్యామ్నాయ మార్గాలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. ఆర్కే బీచ్ తో పాటు ఆంధ్రా యూనివర్శిటీ గ్రౌండ్స్ లో ఏర్పాట్లను పరిశీలించారు.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited Visakhapatnam on Monday to review the preparations for the International Yoga Day celebrations scheduled for June 21. The event, which will witness the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is being organized as a prestigious occasion by the Andhra Pradesh government.
The RK Beach in Vizag is set to host over five lakh participants for the grand event. The Chief Minister personally inspected the arrangements along the beachside. M.T. Krishna Babu, the nodal officer of Yogandhra 2025, and District Collector Harendhira Prasad briefed the CM on the preparations.
Officials stated that staff from 607 village and ward secretariats will coordinate participants. The CM instructed officials to ensure smooth participation for all registered individuals and to avoid any inconvenience. He called for a mock yoga session to be conducted from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM on June 21.
Given the Prime Minister’s participation, tight security arrangements are being made. The Chief Minister reviewed parking plans and alternative traffic routes to ensure public convenience. He also visited Andhra University Grounds to examine additional setup locations.
