హైదరాబాద్: కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుపై జరుగుతున్న దుష్ప్రచారాన్ని ఖండిస్తూ, బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ తీవ్రంగా స్పందించారు. తెలంగాణ భవన్లో జరిగిన హరీష్ రావు పవర్పాయింట్ ప్రజెంటేషన్ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడిన ఆయన, కాంగ్రెస్ – బీజేపీ కుమ్మక్కు రాజకీయాలపై గట్టిగానే ధ్వజమెత్తారు.
“గుజరాత్లో బ్రిడ్జి కూలినా, బీహార్లో టన్నెల్ విఫలమైనా ఎవరూ మాట్లాడరు. కానీ మేడిగడ్డలో చిన్న పగులు వస్తే మాత్రం దాన్ని దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రచారం చేస్తారు.”
కాళేశ్వరం వ్యతిరేక ప్రచారానికి సమాధానంగా, ఈ ప్రజెంటేషన్ వాస్తవాలను బయటపెట్టిందని తెలిపారు.
KTR Fires Back: “Kaleshwaram Facts Twisted for Politics”
Hyderabad: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao strongly criticized the Congress-BJP alliance for what he called a malicious propaganda campaign against the Kaleshwaram Project. Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, after attending Harish Rao’s PowerPoint presentation titled “Kaleshwaram – Facts vs Misinformation”, KTR accused the opposition of “twisting minor issues for major political gain.”
KTR questioned why national agencies like NDSA remain silent on tragic infrastructure failures in Gujarat, Bihar, and Congress-ruled states, but rush to report on Telangana’s irrigation efforts.
“One small crack in Medigadda is exaggerated. But who raised voice when people died in SLBC tunnel collapse?” he asked.
He alleged that contractor-level issues were being twisted into corruption tales, and BRS’s legacy was being targeted through “commission conspiracies.”
