హైదరాబాద్‌లో డిసెంబర్ 10 నుంచి 21 వరకు నిర్వహించనున్న మూడో అఖిల భారత పోలీస్ టీ20 క్రికెట్ టోర్నమెంట్ 2026–27 ఏర్పాట్లపై తెలంగాణ డీజీపీ సీవీ ఆనంద్ సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ శాఖ తొలిసారిగా ఈ జాతీయస్థాయి పురుషుల క్రికెట్ టోర్నమెంట్‌కు ఆతిథ్యం ఇవ్వనుంది.
ఈ పోటీల్లో వివిధ రాష్ట్రాలు, కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాలు, కేంద్ర సాయుధ పోలీసు బలగాలకు చెందిన సుమారు 35 జట్లు పాల్గొనే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. టోర్నమెంట్ నిర్వహణకు అవసరమైన ఏర్పాట్లను డీజీపీ సమగ్రంగా సమీక్షించారు.
పది కమిటీల ఏర్పాటు
టోర్నమెంట్ నిర్వహణలో సమన్వయం కోసం సుమారు పది కమిటీలను ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు అందించిన సమాచారం పేర్కొంది. రవాణా, వసతి, భద్రత, సాంకేతిక సహకారం తదితర కీలక బాధ్యతలను ఈ కమిటీలు పర్యవేక్షించనున్నాయి.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా వివిధ పోలీసు బలగాలకు చెందిన జట్లు హైదరాబాద్‌కు రానున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఆటగాళ్లకు అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాలు, పోటీల నిర్వహణ, భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించారు.
పోలీసు బలగాల మధ్య స్నేహభావానికి వేదిక
ఈ జాతీయస్థాయి టోర్నమెంట్ క్రీడా ప్రతిభను ప్రోత్సహించడంతో పాటు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న పోలీసు బలగాల మధ్య స్నేహభావం, పరస్పర సహకారాన్ని బలోపేతం చేస్తుందని డీజీపీ పేర్కొన్నారు.
టోర్నమెంట్‌లో తాను కూడా మైదానంలోకి దిగి ఆడేందుకు ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు.
డిసెంబర్ 10 నుంచి 21 వరకు జరిగే ఈ పోటీలు హైదరాబాద్‌లో పోలీసు క్రీడలకు ప్రాధాన్యం తీసుకురావడంతో పాటు వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల పోలీసు సిబ్బందికి తమ ప్రతిభను ప్రదర్శించే అవకాశాన్ని కల్పించనున్నాయి.

Telangana Director General of Police C.V. Anand has reviewed preparations for the 3rd All India Police T20 Cricket Tournament 2026–27 (Men), which Telangana Police will host in Hyderabad for the first time from December 10 to 21.
Around 35 teams representing States, Union Territories and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are expected to participate in the national-level tournament.
The DGP reviewed the arrangements in detail and emphasised the need for coordinated planning to ensure the smooth conduct of the competition.
Around 10 Committees to Oversee Arrangements
Approximately 10 committees have been constituted to manage different aspects of the tournament, according to the information provided.
Their responsibilities include transport, accommodation, security, technical support and other essential arrangements. The committees will coordinate the requirements associated with hosting police teams from across the country.
Promoting Sporting Excellence and Camaraderie
The DGP said the prestigious tournament would celebrate sporting excellence and strengthen camaraderie among police forces nationwide.
He also expressed his enthusiasm about getting on the field and playing in the tournament.
Scheduled for December 10–21, the event will bring together police teams from different parts of India for a national-level sporting competition hosted by Telangana Police in Hyderabad.
