హైదరాబాద్‌: తెలంగాణలో రక్షణ, ఏరోస్పేస్, అంతరిక్ష సాంకేతిక రంగాల్లో పెట్టుబడులను ప్రోత్సహించే లక్ష్యంతో రక్షా ఎక్స్‌పో 2026ను డిసెంబర్ 7 నుంచి 9 వరకు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. హైదరాబాద్‌లోని భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్‌లో భాగంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమం జరగనుంది. దేశీయ రక్షణ ఉత్పత్తుల తయారీ, సాంకేతిక ఆవిష్కరణలు, అంతర్జాతీయ పెట్టుబడులను ప్రోత్సహించడం ఈ ఎక్స్‌పో ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశం.

రక్షణ రంగంలో భారత్ స్వావలంబన సాధించడంతో పాటు అధునాతన సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసి ఎగుమతులు పెంచుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. తెలంగాణను దేశ రక్షణ పరిశ్రమకు ప్రధాన పారిశ్రామిక కేంద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు త్వరలో ఏరోస్పేస్ అండ్ డిఫెన్స్ పాలసీ 2.0ను తీసుకురానున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు.

The curtain raiser for Raksha Expo 2026 was held at Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on October 24. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and D. Sridhar Babu, senior police officials, defence representatives and industry leaders attended the programme.

The Chief Minister announced that Telangana would soon introduce Aerospace and Defence Policy 2.0 in line with the Telangana Rising 2047 vision. He called for greater investment in defence manufacturing and said the state should emerge as a major industrial hub supporting India’s indigenous defence capabilities.
