Indian Navy to Host IPRD 2026 in New Delhi from November 3

న్యూఢిల్లీ: ఇండో-పసిఫిక్ ప్రాంతీయ సమాలోచన వేదిక (ఐపీఆర్‌డీ–2026) నవంబర్ 3 నుంచి 5 వరకు న్యూఢిల్లీలో జరగనుంది. భారత నౌకాదళం నిర్వహించే ఈ అంతర్జాతీయ సదస్సులో ఇండో-పసిఫిక్ ప్రాంతానికి సంబంధించిన కీలక అంశాలపై చర్చించనున్నారు.
ఈ ఏడాది సదస్సులో శాస్త్ర, సాంకేతిక, విద్యా రంగాల్లో సహకారం ప్రధాన ఇతివృత్తంగా ఉండనుంది. సముద్ర ప్రాంతంలో పరస్పర సహకారాన్ని పెంపొందించడం, వివిధ దేశాల మధ్య వ్యూహాత్మక చర్చలకు వేదిక కల్పించడం ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కీలక అంశాలుగా నిలవనున్నాయి.
సదస్సు ప్రారంభ రోజున భారత్, శ్రీలంకలకు చెందిన మాజీ నౌకాదళ అధిపతులతో ప్రత్యేక సమావేశం నిర్వహించనున్నారు. అలాగే, రాయబారులతో ‘సహయోగ్ కా సంవాద్’ పేరుతో మరో కార్యక్రమం జరగనుంది.
భారత నౌకాదళానికి చెందిన ఈ వార్షిక ఉన్నతస్థాయి అంతర్జాతీయ చర్చావేదికను నేషనల్ మారిటైమ్ ఫౌండేషన్ సహకారంతో నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ఇండో-పసిఫిక్ ప్రాంతంలో సముద్ర భద్రత, అంతర్జాతీయ సంబంధాలు, విజ్ఞాన సహకారంపై చర్చలకు ఈ వేదిక ప్రాధాన్యం కల్పించనుంది.

New Delhi: The Indian Navy will host the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue (IPRD 2026) in New Delhi from November 3 to 5. The annual international strategic dialogue will bring together stakeholders to discuss key issues concerning the Indo-Pacific region.
This year’s conference will focus on cooperation in science, technology and academia. The discussions are expected to provide a platform for strengthening regional engagement and exploring areas of collaboration among countries across the Indo-Pacific.
The opening day will feature a special interaction with former naval chiefs from India and Sri Lanka. A separate programme titled “Sahyog Ka Samvad” will also be organised with ambassadors.
The annual dialogue is organised by the Indian Navy in association with the National Maritime Foundation, its knowledge partner and principal organiser of the event. The platform facilitates discussions on maritime security, strategic cooperation and regional engagement.
