TCS HyperVault Project
దరాబాద్లో 250 ఎకరాలకు పైగా విస్తీర్ణంలో 1 గిగావాట్ సామర్థ్యంతో భారీ ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్ క్యాంపస్ను హైపర్వాల్ట్ అభివృద్ధి చేయనుంది. దాదాపు రూ.70 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడితో చేపట్టనున్న ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు సుమారు 7 వేల ప్రత్యక్ష, పరోక్ష ఉద్యోగాలను సృష్టించడంతో పాటు తెలంగాణను గ్లోబల్ ఏఐ మౌలిక వసతుల కేంద్రంగా మరింత బలోపేతం చేయనుంది.

టీసీఎస్కు చెందిన ఏఐ ఇన్ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ వ్యాపార సంస్థ హైపర్వాల్ట్ హైదరాబాద్లో 250 ఎకరాలకు పైగా విస్తీర్ణంలో 1 గిగావాట్ వరకు సామర్థ్యంతో భారీ ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్ క్యాంపస్ను అభివృద్ధి చేయనుంది. ఈ మౌలిక వసతుల నిర్మాణం, నిర్వహణ కోసం హైపర్వాల్ట్, భాగస్వామ్య సంస్థలు కలిసి రూ.70 వేల కోట్ల వరకు పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టనున్నాయి.
ఫ్రాంటియర్ ఏఐ కంపెనీలు, హైపర్స్కేలర్లు, గ్లోబల్ ఎంటర్ప్రైజెస్కు అవసరమైన అత్యాధునిక కంప్యూటింగ్ మౌలిక వసతులను ఈ క్యాంపస్ అందించనుంది. ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా సుమారు 7 వేల ప్రత్యక్ష, పరోక్ష ఉద్యోగాలు ఏర్పడనున్నాయి. పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అభివృద్ధి పూర్తయిన తర్వాత ఇది భారత్లోని అతిపెద్ద, అత్యాధునిక ఏఐ ఇన్ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ క్యాంపస్లలో ఒకటిగా నిలవనుంది.
క్యాంపస్ అభివృద్ధిలో గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ వినియోగంతో పాటు వాటర్-న్యూట్రల్ డిజైన్ విధానాలను అనుసరించనున్నారు. దీంతో తెలంగాణ ఏఐ, అధునాతన డిజిటల్ మౌలిక వసతులకు వ్యూహాత్మక కేంద్రంగా ఎదగడానికి ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు మరింత దోహదపడనుంది.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రభావం డేటా సెంటర్కే పరిమితం కాకుండా విద్యుత్, కూలింగ్, నెట్వర్కింగ్, నిర్మాణం, ఇంజినీరింగ్, ఆపరేషన్స్ వంటి అనుబంధ రంగాల్లోనూ పెట్టుబడులు, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను పెంచే అవకాశం ఉంది. తద్వారా దేశీయ ఏఐ ఇన్ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ ఎకోసిస్టమ్ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రాజెక్టు ఊతమివ్వనుంది.
హైపర్వాల్ట్ ప్రతినిధులతో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును తెలంగాణకే కాకుండా దేశానికి కూడా ‘చారిత్రాత్మక’మైనదిగా అభివర్ణించారు. హైదరాబాద్ ప్రపంచ ఏఐ విప్లవంలో అత్యాధునిక మౌలిక వసతులపై దృష్టి సారించిన ముందంజలో ఉన్న నగరంగా నిలుస్తోందని అన్నారు.
ఏఐ మోడల్స్కు, కంప్యూటింగ్ సామర్థ్యానికి ప్రాధాన్యం వేగంగా పెరుగుతోందని, భవిష్యత్తులో ఇవి ప్రజా మౌలిక వసతులుగా మారనున్నాయని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. ఇలాంటి అధునాతన కంప్యూటింగ్ సామర్థ్యం తెలంగాణలోనే అందుబాటులో ఉండటం రాష్ట్రానికి వ్యూహాత్మక ప్రయోజనాన్ని కల్పిస్తుందని తెలిపారు.
ఐటీ, పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు ఈ ఒప్పందం కోసం జరిగిన చర్చలకు నాయకత్వం వహించారు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా పెట్టుబడిదారులు, కార్పొరేట్ సంస్థలకు తెలంగాణ పెట్టుబడులకు అనుకూలమైన రాష్ట్రంగా ఉందని, సాంకేతిక రంగ అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా వేగంగా, స్పష్టమైన విధానాలతో నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని తెలిపారు.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు సంబంధించిన చర్చలకు 2026 జనవరిలో దావోస్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, టాటా సన్స్ చైర్మన్ ఎన్. చంద్రశేఖరన్ మధ్య జరిగిన సమావేశం నాంది పలికింది. అనంతరం తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం, హైపర్వాల్ట్, టీసీఎస్ ప్రతినిధుల మధ్య జరిగిన చర్చలతో కొద్ది నెలల్లోనే ప్రాజెక్టు కార్యరూపం దాల్చింది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును దక్కించుకునేందుకు ఐదు రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి పోటీ ఉన్నప్పటికీ తెలంగాణ విజయం సాధించింది.
టీసీఎస్ సీఈఓ, మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ కె. కృతివాసన్ మాట్లాడుతూ, ఏఐకి సిద్ధంగా ఉండే మౌలిక వసతులను టీసీఎస్ క్లౌడ్, ఇంజినీరింగ్, ఎంటర్ప్రైజ్ ట్రాన్స్ఫర్మేషన్, ఏఐ సామర్థ్యాలతో అనుసంధానించే ‘ఇన్ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్-టు-ఇంటెలిజెన్స్’ వ్యూహంలో హైపర్వాల్ట్ కీలక భాగమని తెలిపారు. ప్రపంచ వినియోగదారులకు సేవలందించేందుకు హైదరాబాద్లో అవసరమైన స్థాయి, ప్రతిభ, సాంకేతిక ఎకోసిస్టమ్ ఉన్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు.
హైపర్వాల్ట్ ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్ లిమిటెడ్ ఎండీ, సీఈఓ దీపేష్ నందా మాట్లాడుతూ, అధిక సాంద్రత కలిగిన కంప్యూటింగ్, లిక్విడ్ కూలింగ్, భారీ పవర్ బ్లాక్స్, వేగవంతమైన డిప్లాయ్మెంట్కు అనుగుణంగా కొత్త తరం ఏఐ మౌలిక వసతులను హైదరాబాద్లో నిర్మిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఫ్రాంటియర్ ఏఐ కంపెనీలు, హైపర్స్కేలర్ల అవసరాలను పెద్ద స్థాయిలో తీర్చేందుకు హైదరాబాద్ అనుకూలమైన పునాదిని అందిస్తోందని చెప్పారు.
Hyderabad is set to host a large-scale AI data centre campus, with TCS’ AI infrastructure business HyperVault planning a facility of up to 1 GW capacity across more than 250 acres. The project, involving investments of up to ₹70,000 crore, is expected to create around 7,000 direct and indirect jobs and further strengthen Telangana’s position as a strategic AI infrastructure hub.
Hyderabad to Get 1 GW AI Data Centre Campus with ₹70,000 Crore Investment
HyperVault, TCS’ AI infrastructure business, will develop a large-scale AI data centre campus in Hyderabad with capacity of up to 1 GW, spread across more than 250 acres. HyperVault and its partners are expected to invest up to ₹70,000 crore towards building and managing the infrastructure.
The campus will support frontier AI companies, hyperscalers and global enterprises requiring advanced computing infrastructure. The project is estimated to generate around 7,000 direct and indirect jobs and, at full build-out, is expected to rank among India’s largest and most advanced AI infrastructure campuses.
The facility will incorporate green energy and water-neutral design principles as part of its development. The project is expected to further reinforce Telangana’s position as a strategic hub for artificial intelligence and advanced digital infrastructure.
The impact of the project is also expected to extend beyond the data centre campus, creating opportunities across power, cooling, networking, construction, engineering and operations. It is expected to contribute to the growth of India’s wider AI infrastructure ecosystem.
During a meeting with HyperVault officials, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy described the project as historic not only for Telangana but also for India. He said Hyderabad was emerging at the forefront of the global AI revolution, with a strong focus on advanced infrastructure.
The Chief Minister said the decade was being shaped by artificial intelligence and that access to AI models and computing capacity was rapidly becoming a form of public infrastructure. Having such computing capabilities located in Telangana, he said, would provide the state with a significant strategic advantage.
IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, who led the negotiations for the agreement, said Telangana was demonstrating its investment-friendly approach through speed and clarity in decision-making. He said the state’s processes were aligned with the expectations of the global technology and corporate sectors.
The project discussions began with a meeting between Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran in Davos in January 2026. Following several rounds of discussions between the Telangana government, HyperVault and TCS officials, the project was finalised within a few months. Telangana secured the project despite competition from five other states.
K. Krithivasan, CEO and Managing Director of TCS, said HyperVault advances TCS’ Infrastructure-to-Intelligence strategy by combining AI-ready infrastructure with the company’s cloud, engineering, enterprise transformation and AI capabilities. He said Hyderabad offered the scale, talent and ecosystem required to serve global customers.
Deepesh Nanda, MD and CEO of HyperVault AI Data Center Limited, said the company was building infrastructure designed for the future of AI, including higher-density computing, liquid cooling, larger power blocks and faster deployment.
