ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నేతృత్వంలోని ‘తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్’ అధికారిక ప్రతినిధి బృందం కేంబ్రిడ్జ్ యూనివర్సిటీకి చెందిన విద్యావేత్తల బృందంతో సమావేశమైంది. హైదరాబాద్లో ప్రముఖ అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యాసంస్థలు తమ కార్యకలాపాలను విస్తరించేందుకు ఉన్న అవకాశాలను తెలంగాణ బృందం వివరించింది.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డితో పాటు ఐటీ, పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు, సీనియర్ అధికారులు కె. రామకృష్ణారావు, జయేష్ రంజన్ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్ను ప్రపంచ స్థాయి నాలెడ్జ్ హబ్గా తీర్చిదిద్దే ప్రణాళికలో అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యాసంస్థల భాగస్వామ్యానికి ఉన్న అవకాశాలను వారు వివరించారు.
కేంబ్రిడ్జ్ జడ్జ్ బిజినెస్ స్కూల్లో భారత ప్రభుత్వం స్పాన్సర్ చేస్తున్న మార్కెటింగ్ ప్రొఫెసర్ జైదీప్ ప్రభు, కేంబ్రిడ్జ్ జడ్జ్ బిజినెస్ స్కూల్కు చెందిన, ఫ్రూగల్ ఏఐ కో-చైర్ వెంకటేష్ గాండికోట తెలంగాణతో భాగస్వామ్యంపై ఆసక్తి వ్యక్తం చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో విద్యా కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించడం, సంయుక్త పరిశోధనలు చేపట్టడం, ఎంటర్ప్రెన్యూర్షిప్, ఇంక్యుబేషన్ కార్యక్రమాలకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వడం వంటి అంశాలను ప్రతిపాదిత భాగస్వామ్యంలో పరిశీలించనున్నారు.
ఈ సహకారానికి సంబంధించి ఇరుపక్షాలు ఒక ఫ్రేమ్వర్క్ను రూపొందించేందుకు ముందుకు వెళ్లాలని నిర్ణయించాయి. ఈ భాగస్వామ్యం అమలులోకి వస్తే హైదరాబాద్లో అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి విద్య, పరిశోధన, స్టార్టప్ అవకాశాలను మరింత విస్తరించేందుకు దోహదపడే అవకాశం ఉంది.

London: The Telangana government held discussions in London with an academic team from the University of Cambridge as part of its efforts to develop Hyderabad into a global knowledge hub. Both sides agreed to work towards a framework for cooperation in educational programmes, joint research, entrepreneurship and incubation initiatives.
The official ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, met the Cambridge academic team to discuss potential areas of collaboration and opportunities for international educational institutions to establish a presence in Hyderabad.
Revanth Reddy was accompanied by IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and senior officials K. Ramakrishna Rao and Jayesh Ranjan. The delegation highlighted Hyderabad’s potential to attract leading global institutions and contribute to the city’s development as a world-class knowledge hub.
Jaideep Prabhu, Government of India-sponsored Professor of Marketing at Cambridge Judge Business School, and Venkatesh Gandikota of Cambridge Judge Business School and Co-Chair of Frugal AI, expressed interest in partnering with Telangana.
The proposed areas of cooperation include offering educational programmes in Hyderabad, undertaking joint research and supporting entrepreneurship and incubation initiatives. Both sides agreed to work towards developing a framework to take the proposed collaboration forward.
The proposed partnership could strengthen Hyderabad’s position as an international destination for education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
