Hyderabad Metro Facilitates Priority Transit for Donor Heart and Lung Transport Between CARE and KIMS Hospitals

ప్రాణాలను కాపాడే అవయవ మార్పిడి ప్రక్రియలో కీలకమైన సమయాన్ని ఆదా చేయడానికి హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్య వైద్య రవాణా (Priority Medical Transit)ను విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించింది. గచ్చిబౌలిలోని కేర్ హాస్పిటల్స్ నుంచి సికింద్రాబాద్ మినిస్టర్ రోడ్డులోని కిమ్స్ హాస్పిటల్స్కు దాత గుండె, ఊపిరితిత్తులను వేగంగా తరలించేందుకు మెట్రో సేవలను వినియోగించారు.
ఈ ప్రత్యేక మిషన్లో అవయవాలను రైడుర్గ్ మెట్రో స్టేషన్ నుంచి రసూల్పురా మెట్రో స్టేషన్ వరకు సుమారు 14 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరం, 13 స్టేషన్లు దాటి కేవలం 25 నిమిషాల్లో (ఉదయం 11:40 నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 12:05 గంటల వరకు) సురక్షితంగా తరలించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో అధికారులు, వైద్య నిపుణులు, కేర్ హాస్పిటల్స్, కిమ్స్ హాస్పిటల్స్ యాజమాన్యాల సమన్వయంతో విజయవంతమైంది. అవయవ మార్పిడి వంటి అత్యవసర వైద్య సేవల్లో నగర రవాణా వ్యవస్థ కూడా కీలక పాత్ర పోషించగలదని ఈ ఘటన మరోసారి నిరూపించింది.

Hyderabad Metro Rail successfully facilitated a Priority Medical Transit for the time-critical transportation of donor heart and lungs from CARE Hospitals, Gachibowli, to KIMS Hospitals, Minister Road, Secunderabad.
As part of the mission, the donor organs were transported through the metro network from Raidurg Metro Station to Rasoolpura Metro Station, covering approximately 14 kilometres across 13 stations in just 25 minutes, between 11:40 AM and 12:05 PM.
The operation was carried out through seamless coordination between Hyderabad Metro Rail, healthcare professionals, CARE Hospitals, and KIMS Hospitals, ensuring the timely movement of the donor organs during a crucial phase of the transplantation process.
L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited stated that it remains committed to supporting emergency healthcare initiatives and extending the role of urban mobility beyond transportation to facilitate life-saving medical interventions.
