Global Tiger Day: India Reaffirms Commitment to Tiger Conservation

ప్రపంచ పులుల దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా వన్యప్రాణి ప్రేమికులకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేశారు. ప్రపంచంలోని మొత్తం పులుల జనాభాలో దాదాపు 70 శాతం పులులు భారతదేశంలోనే ఉండటం దేశానికి గర్వకారణమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
భారతదేశంలో పులుల సంరక్షణకు శతాబ్దాలుగా కొనసాగుతున్న ప్రకృతితో సామరస్యంగా జీవించే సంస్కృతి బలమైన పునాదిగా నిలిచిందని తెలిపారు. ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యం, ప్రకృతి పరిరక్షణపై ఉన్న అవగాహన, ప్రభుత్వ చర్యలు కలిసి పులుల సంరక్షణను మరింత బలోపేతం చేస్తున్నాయని వెల్లడించారు.

On the occasion of Global Tiger Day, greetings were extended to wildlife enthusiasts across the country. India highlighted that it is home to nearly 70% of the world’s tiger population, reflecting the nation’s remarkable success in tiger conservation.
India’s conservation efforts are rooted in its centuries-old tradition of living in harmony with nature and are strengthened by the collective commitment of its people. The country also reaffirmed its dedication to science-based conservation, community participation, and sustainable development to ensure the long-term protection of tigers and their habitats.
