South Central Railway Cancels Several Express Trains via Secunderabad Due to Balasore Modernisation Works
రైల్వే ప్రయాణికులకు దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే (SCR) కీలక హెచ్చరిక జారీ చేసింది. దక్షిణ తూర్పు రైల్వే పరిధిలోని బాలేశ్వర్ (బాలాసోర్) రైల్వే స్టేషన్లో ఆధునీకరణ, నాన్ ఇంటర్లాకింగ్ పనులు చేపట్టనున్న నేపథ్యంలో సికింద్రాబాద్ మీదుగా నడిచే పలు ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైళ్లను తాత్కాలికంగా రద్దు చేస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు ప్రకటించారు.
రైల్వే అధికారుల ప్రకారం, సికింద్రాబాద్–హౌరా–ఫలక్నుమా ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ను జూలై 28 నుంచి ఆగస్టు 8 వరకు రద్దు చేశారు. అలాగే హౌరా–సికింద్రాబాద్–ఫలక్నుమా ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ను జూలై 29 నుంచి ఆగస్టు 9 వరకు నిలిపివేశారు.
అదేవిధంగా శాలిమార్–చర్లపల్లి ఈస్ట్కోస్ట్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ను ఆగస్టు 4 వరకు, చర్లపల్లి–శాలిమార్ ఈస్ట్కోస్ట్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ను ఆగస్టు 6 వరకు రద్దు చేశారు. శాలిమార్–సికింద్రాబాద్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ ఆగస్టు 5 వరకు, సికింద్రాబాద్–శాలిమార్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ ఆగస్టు 7 వరకు రద్దు చేసినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
బాలేశ్వర్ స్టేషన్లో చేపడుతున్న నాన్ ఇంటర్లాకింగ్ పనులు పూర్తయ్యే వరకు ఈ రద్దులు అమల్లో ఉంటాయని రైల్వే శాఖ పేర్కొంది. పనులు పూర్తైన తర్వాత రైళ్ల పునఃప్రారంభ తేదీలను అధికారికంగా ప్రకటించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించింది.
ఈ మార్గాల్లో ప్రయాణించాల్సిన ప్రయాణికులు ముందుగానే తమ ప్రయాణ ప్రణాళికలను మార్చుకోవాలని, ప్రత్యామ్నాయ రైళ్లు లేదా ఇతర రవాణా సౌకర్యాలను వినియోగించాలని రైల్వే అధికారులు సూచించారు.

South Central Railway has issued an important alert for passengers travelling through Secunderabad. Several long-distance express trains have been cancelled temporarily due to modernisation and non-interlocking works being undertaken at Balasore Railway Station under the South Eastern Railway zone.
According to railway officials, the Secunderabad–Howrah–Falaknuma Express will remain cancelled from July 28 to August 8. Similarly, the Howrah–Secunderabad–Falaknuma Express has been cancelled from July 29 to August 9.
The Shalimar–Charlapalli East Coast Express will remain cancelled until August 4, while the Charlapalli–Shalimar East Coast Express has been cancelled until August 6. The Shalimar–Secunderabad Express will remain suspended until August 5 and the Secunderabad–Shalimar Express until August 7.
Railway authorities stated that these cancellations are necessary to facilitate non-interlocking and infrastructure modernisation works at Balasore station. The services will be restored after completion of the engineering works, and revised operational schedules will be announced separately.
Passengers planning to travel on these routes are advised to check train status in advance and make alternative travel arrangements to avoid inconvenience.
