హైదరాబాద్లోని నాగోల్ ప్రాంతంలో ఉన్న ఓ నమకీన్ తయారీ యూనిట్పై ఆహార భద్రత శాఖ అధికారులు ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించి పలు ఆహార భద్రత ఉల్లంఘనలను గుర్తించారు. నగరవ్యాప్తంగా కొనసాగుతున్న ప్రత్యేక తనిఖీలలో భాగంగా ఈ దాడులు చేపట్టినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
తనిఖీల సందర్భంగా యూనిట్లో పరిశుభ్రత ప్రమాణాలు, ఆహార భద్రత నిబంధనలు సక్రమంగా పాటించడం లేదని అధికారులు గుర్తించినట్లు సమాచారం. ఈ సందర్భంగా సుమారు 150 కిలోల వంట నూనె, 720 కిలోల సేవ్తో పాటు పెద్ద మొత్తంలో ఆలుగడ్డ చిప్స్ను అధికారులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.
ఆహార పదార్థాల నిల్వ, తయారీ ప్రక్రియలు, పరిశుభ్రత ప్రమాణాలపై అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తం చేసిన అధికారులు వివిధ నమూనాలను సేకరించి ప్రయోగశాల పరీక్షలకు పంపించారు.
పరీక్షల నివేదికలు వచ్చిన తర్వాత తదుపరి చర్యలపై నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటామని అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రజలకు నాణ్యమైన, సురక్షితమైన ఆహార ఉత్పత్తులు అందేలా హైదరాబాద్లో ఆహార భద్రత అమలు చర్యలు మరింత కఠినతరం చేస్తున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇటీవల నగరంలోని పలు హోటళ్లు, బేకరీలు, ఆహార తయారీ కేంద్రాలపై కూడా ఇలాంటి తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.

Food Safety Department officials conducted a surprise inspection at a namkeen manufacturing unit in Nagole, Hyderabad, and detected multiple violations during the raid. The inspection was carried out as part of ongoing food safety enforcement drives across the city.
During the operation, officials found alleged lapses in hygiene standards and food safety practices at the manufacturing facility. Authorities seized around 150 kilograms of cooking oil, 720 kilograms of sev, and a substantial quantity of potato chips from the premises.
Officials also collected food samples for laboratory testing to determine whether the products comply with prescribed safety and quality standards.
