హైదరాబాద్, మే 21: తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో ఎండల తీవ్రత రోజురోజుకు పెరుగుతోంది. India Meteorological Department (ఐఎండీ) రాష్ట్రంలోని 14 జిల్లాలకు రెడ్ అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. రాబోయే రెండు మూడు రోజుల్లో ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు మరో ఒకటి నుంచి రెండు డిగ్రీల వరకు పెరిగే అవకాశముందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు.
కొన్ని జిల్లాల్లో గరిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 46 నుంచి 47 డిగ్రీల సెల్సియస్ వరకు నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. Hyderabad నగరంలో కూడా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 43 డిగ్రీల సెల్సియస్కు చేరుకునే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
తెలంగాణ వ్యాప్తంగా ఇప్పటికే 84 ప్రాంతాల్లో హీట్వేవ్ పరిస్థితులు నమోదయ్యాయని వాతావరణ శాఖ వెల్లడించింది. మధ్యాహ్న సమయంలో ప్రజలు అత్యవసరమైతే తప్ప బయటకు వెళ్లవద్దని, ఎక్కువగా నీరు తాగాలని, వడదెబ్బ నుంచి జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
తీవ్ర ఎండల మధ్య కొన్ని జిల్లాల్లో స్వల్ప వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశమూ ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఈ హీట్వేవ్ ప్రభావంతో రాష్ట్రంలో విద్యుత్ వినియోగం, తాగునీటి అవసరం, ఆస్పత్రులపై ఒత్తిడి పెరుగుతోంది.

Hyderabad, May 21: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a severe heatwave warning for Telangana, placing 14 districts under red alert as temperatures continue to rise sharply across the state. Weather officials warned that daytime temperatures may increase by another one to two degrees Celsius over the next few days.
Several districts are expected to record maximum temperatures between 46°C and 47°C. Hyderabad is also likely to witness temperatures nearing 43°C, prompting authorities to issue public health advisories.
According to officials, at least 84 locations across Telangana have already reported heatwave conditions. Residents have been advised to avoid outdoor exposure during afternoon hours, drink sufficient water, and take precautions against heatstroke.
Despite the intense heat, isolated rainfall activity is expected in some districts due to atmospheric instability. The prolonged heatwave has increased pressure on electricity demand, drinking water supply, and healthcare services across Telangana.
