CM Revanth Reddy Orders Fast Completion Of Paddy Procurement Across Telangana
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో ధాన్యం, మొక్కజొన్న కొనుగోళ్ల ప్రక్రియను వేగవంతంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి A. Revanth Reddy జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్లో నిర్వహించిన ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఆయన మే నెలాఖరు నాటికి కొనుగోళ్ల ప్రక్రియ పూర్తయ్యేలా మిషన్ మోడ్లో పనిచేయాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
కొనుగోలు కేంద్రాల వద్ద రైతులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. ధాన్యం రవాణా, నిల్వ, రైతులకు చెల్లింపుల అంశాలను జిల్లా అధికారులు ప్రత్యక్షంగా పర్యవేక్షించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో ధాన్యం రాకలు పెరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో అవసరమైతే ఫంక్షన్ హాళ్లు, రైతు బజార్లను అదనపు నిల్వ కేంద్రాలుగా ఉపయోగించాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. నిల్వ సమస్యలు లేకుండా ముందస్తు ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని అధికారులకు సూచనలు జారీ చేశారు.
కొనుగోళ్లలో జాప్యం జరుగుతోందని రైతుల నుంచి వచ్చిన ఫిర్యాదుల నేపథ్యంలో ప్రభుత్వం వేగంగా చర్యలు చేపట్టింది. వ్యవసాయ రంగం తెలంగాణలో రాజకీయపరంగా కూడా కీలక అంశం కావడంతో ప్రభుత్వం ఈ వ్యవహారాన్ని అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యంగా తీసుకుంటోంది.

A. Revanth Reddy directed district collectors to complete paddy and maize procurement operations across Telangana on mission mode before the end of May.
During a high-level review meeting held in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that farmers do not face inconvenience at procurement centres. He asked district administrations to closely monitor procurement activities, transportation facilities, storage management and timely payments to farmers.
Officials were also directed to personally supervise procurement operations in their respective districts. The government said additional storage arrangements should be made wherever necessary due to increasing arrivals of paddy and maize.
As part of contingency planning, authorities were instructed to use function halls and Rythu Bazaars as temporary storage facilities if existing godowns become insufficient. The state government aims to prevent delays and logistical disruptions during the ongoing procurement season.
The issue has gained importance following complaints from farmers regarding procurement delays in several districts. Agriculture and procurement operations remain politically sensitive in Telangana, particularly during peak harvesting periods involving lakhs of farmers.
