Revanth Reddy హైదరాబాద్ భవిష్యత్ అభివృద్ధిపై ప్రభుత్వ సమగ్ర ప్రణాళికలను వివరించారు. ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు పరిధిలోని కోర్ అర్బన్ రీజియన్ (#CURE) ప్రాంతంలో ఎదురవుతున్న సమస్యలను పరిష్కరిస్తూ నగరాన్ని ప్రణాళికబద్ధంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయడమే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
హైదరాబాద్ను ట్రాఫిక్ ఫ్రీ నగరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు అండర్పాస్లు, ఎలివేటెడ్ కారిడార్లు, ఉపరితల రహదారులు నిర్మిస్తున్నట్లు సీఎం తెలిపారు. కేవలం రోడ్ల విస్తరణతో సమస్యలు పరిష్కారం కావని, బహుళ రవాణా విధానాల అభివృద్ధి అవసరమని పేర్కొన్నారు. నగరంలో మల్టీ లెవెల్ పార్కింగ్ వ్యవస్థలను కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
రాష్ట్రాన్ని CURE, PURE, RARE విభాగాలుగా అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు ప్రత్యేక ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేసినట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. ORR లోపలి ప్రాంతాన్ని సర్వీస్ సెక్టార్గా, ORR బయట నుంచి రీజనల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు మధ్య ప్రాంతాన్ని మాన్యుఫాక్చరింగ్ హబ్గా, ఆ తర్వాతి ప్రాంతాలను వ్యవసాయ ఆధారిత ఆర్థిక మండలాలుగా అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
కాలుష్య నియంత్రణలో భాగంగా Musi Riverfront ప్రాజెక్టును చేపడుతున్నామని, నగరంలో ఈవీ బస్సులను ప్రవేశపెడుతున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఆటోలను ఉచితంగా రిట్రోఫిట్టింగ్ చేసి ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాలుగా మార్చే దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో స్టాండింగ్ కమిటీ చైర్పర్సన్ Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, ఎంపీ Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి K. Ramakrishna Rao తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday outlined the state government’s long-term urban development strategy for Hyderabad during the Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs meeting held at Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
The Chief Minister said the government is committed to solving the growing challenges within the Core Urban Region Expansion (#CURE) zone located inside the Outer Ring Road (ORR) while ensuring planned urban growth aligned with future needs.
He stated that the government is working towards transforming Hyderabad into a traffic-free city through the construction of underpasses, elevated corridors, and surface roads in key areas. Revanth Reddy said road expansion alone would not solve traffic congestion and stressed the need for multi-modal transport systems and multi-level parking infrastructure across the city.
The Chief Minister also explained the government’s broader regional development strategy by dividing Telangana into CURE, PURE, and RARE economic zones. Areas within the ORR are being developed as service-sector hubs, regions between the ORR and Regional Ring Road are being planned as manufacturing-focused peri-urban zones, while areas beyond the Regional Ring Road will focus on agriculture and allied sectors.
Highlighting environmental measures, the Chief Minister said the government is taking up the Musi Riverfront initiative to reduce pollution and improve urban living standards. He added that electric buses are being introduced in Hyderabad and efforts are underway to retrofit autos into EV vehicles free of cost.
The meeting was attended by Standing Committee Chairperson Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Telangana Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and senior officials from the Centre and the state government.
