In a major fraud case in Hyderabad, Malkajgiri police have arrested a man for impersonating a senior official to obtain IPL passes from the Hyderabad Cricket Association.

The accused, identified as Ashok, allegedly posed as a government-linked authority and repeatedly contacted HCA officials requesting complimentary IPL passes. His inconsistent communication raised suspicion among officials.

Alerted by HCA, police set up a trap and apprehended the accused. During the arrest, officials recovered forged documents and fake identification credentials from his possession.
