తెలంగాణలో బలహీన వర్గాల మహిళల ఆర్థిక సాధికారత కోసం రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ప్రతి అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గంలో 1000 మంది మహిళలకు 100 శాతం సబ్సిడీతో ఉచిత కుట్టు మిషన్లను అందించాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది.

టైలరింగ్ నైపుణ్యం కలిగిన బీసీ మహిళలకు ఆటోమేటిక్ కుట్టు యంత్రాలను అందించడం ద్వారా వారిని స్వయం ఉపాధి దిశగా తీసుకెళ్లాలని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. ఉత్పాదకత పెరగడంతో పాటు చిన్న స్థాయి వ్యాపార అవకాశాలు కూడా విస్తరించే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు.
త్వరలోనే ఈ పథకానికి సంబంధించిన అధికారిక నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేసి, అర్హులైన మహిళల నుంచి దరఖాస్తులను స్వీకరించనున్నట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. లబ్ధిదారుల ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ మొత్తం జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ల ప్రత్యక్ష పర్యవేక్షణలో పారదర్శకంగా నిర్వహించబడుతుందని చెప్పారు.
కేవలం కుట్టు మిషన్ల పంపిణీకే పరిమితం కాకుండా, మహిళలకు అవసరమైన ఇతర వనరులు, శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమాలు కూడా అందించనున్నట్లు ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టం చేసింది. ఆధునిక డిజైనింగ్, కుట్టు పనిలో ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ఇచ్చేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని వెల్లడించింది.
ప్రతి నియోజకవర్గానికి 1000 మంది లబ్ధిదారులను ఎంపిక చేయడం ద్వారా రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా వేలాది మంది మహిళలు ఆర్థికంగా స్వయం సమృద్ధి సాధించే అవకాశం లభిస్తుందని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు.
బీసీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ ఈ పథకాన్ని మహిళా సాధికారతకు బలమైన పునాదిగా చూస్తోంది. దీనితో పాటు నిరుద్యోగ యువతకు కూడా స్కిల్ డెవలప్మెంట్ కార్యక్రమాల ద్వారా ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు పెంచే దిశగా చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని మంత్రి తెలిపారు.

The Telangana government has announced a major welfare initiative aimed at improving the economic condition of women from weaker sections by providing free sewing machines under a 100 percent subsidy scheme.
Under this program, 1000 women in every Assembly constituency across Telangana will receive automatic sewing machines to encourage self-employment and financial independence.
BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that the scheme is being implemented as per the instructions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The main objective is to help women stand on their own feet and build sustainable livelihoods through tailoring-based self-employment.
The government plans to support skilled BC women involved in tailoring by supplying modern sewing machines that can improve productivity and expand small business opportunities. Officials believe this will help thousands of women become financially stable across the state.
The minister said that an official notification for the scheme will be released soon, and applications from eligible women will be invited shortly. The beneficiary selection process will be conducted transparently under the direct supervision of district collectors.
Apart from distributing sewing machines, the government also plans to provide additional resources and training support. Women selected under the scheme may also receive special training in advanced designing and modern tailoring techniques.
The BC Welfare Department said the scheme is not limited to machine distribution alone but is part of a broader plan to promote women entrepreneurship and improve employment opportunities for unemployed youth through skill development programs.
Officials believe selecting 1000 beneficiaries per constituency will create a strong foundation for women empowerment and economic self-reliance throughout Telangana.
