మేడ్చల్-మల్కాజిగిరి జిల్లా శామీర్పేట్ మండలం పరిధిలోని బొమ్మరాసిపేట్ గ్రామంలో భూ వివాదానికి సంబంధించి తీవ్ర ఉద్రిక్తత చోటుచేసుకుంది. ఏప్రిల్ 24న సుమారు 50 నుంచి 60 మంది వ్యక్తులు గుంపుగా చేరి అక్రమంగా భూమిలోకి ప్రవేశించి అక్కడ విధుల్లో ఉన్న వాచ్మన్ మరియు కార్మికులను బలవంతంగా బయటకు పంపించిన ఘటన కలకలం రేపింది. ఈ వివరాలును శామీర్పేట్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ సి ఐ శ్రీనాథ్ ఓ ప్రెస్ నోట్ ద్వార వెల్లడించారు.
దాడికి పాల్పడిన వ్యక్తులు అక్కడ ఉన్న కంటైనర్ను క్రేన్ల సహాయంతో తొలగించి, తమకు సంబంధించిన కంటైనర్ను అక్కడ ఉంచి భూమిని అక్రమంగా ఆక్రమించేందుకు ప్రయత్నించినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. ఈ సమయంలో సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాలను ధ్వంసం చేయడంతో పాటు అక్కడ ఉన్న వారిపై దాడి చేసి ప్రాణహాని కలిగించేలా ప్రవర్తించినట్లు ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్నారు .
ఫిర్యాదు అందిన వెంటనే శామీర్పేట్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ ఎస్. శ్రీనాథ్ కేసు నమోదు చేసి పోలీసు బృందంతో సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని పరిస్థితిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. ఘటనలో ఉపయోగించిన నాలుగు కార్లు, రెండు క్రేన్లను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.
ఈ కేసులో ప్రమేయం ఉన్న 13 మందిని అరెస్ట్ చేసి న్యాయస్థానం ముందు హాజరుపరచగా, కోర్టు వారిని రిమాండ్కు పంపించింది. ప్రస్తుతం వారు చెర్లపల్లి జైలులో నిర్బంధంలో ఉన్నారు. ఘటనలో పాల్గొన్న మరికొంత మంది పరారీలో ఉండగా, వారిని గుర్తించి త్వరలోనే అరెస్ట్ చేస్తామని శామీర్పేట్ పోలీసులు తెలిపారు .
భూమిపై వివాదం ఉందని తెలిసినా అధిక డబ్బుల ఆశతో పనికి వచ్చిన వ్యక్తుల పాత్రపై కూడా పోలీసులు సమగ్ర విచారణ చేపట్టారు. అక్రమంగా భూములను ఆక్రమించడం, దురాక్రమణకు ప్రయత్నించడం, చట్టాన్ని తమ చేతుల్లోకి తీసుకోవడం వంటి చర్యలను ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ సహించబోమని పోలీసులు గట్టి హెచ్చరిక జారీ చేశారు.
అలాగే, తమకు సంబంధం లేని భూవివాదాల్లో జోక్యం చేసుకుని “సెటిల్మెంట్” పేరుతో శాంతిభద్రతలకు భంగం కలిగించే వారిపై పీడీ యాక్ట్ అమలు చేస్తామని ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ ఎస్. శ్రీనాథ్ హెచ్చరించారు. ప్రజలు చట్టబద్ధ మార్గాల్లోనే సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించుకోవాలని, పోలీసు శాఖకు సహకరించాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

A serious incident related to a land dispute was reported in Bommarasipet village under Shamirpet mandal in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, Telangana. On April 24, around 50 to 60 people allegedly entered the disputed land in a group, forcibly removed the watchman and workers on duty, and created panic at the site. The details were revealed in an official police press note .
According to police, the group used cranes to remove an existing container from the land and placed their own container there in an attempt to illegally occupy the property. During the incident, CCTV cameras were damaged, and the people present at the location were attacked in a manner that allegedly endangered their lives .
Following the complaint, Shamirpet Inspector S. Srinath registered a case and police teams immediately reached the spot to bring the situation under control. Police seized four cars and two cranes used during the incident.
Thirteen persons involved in the case were arrested and produced before the court. They were later remanded and shifted to Cherlapally Jail. Police said some more accused involved in the incident are absconding and will be arrested soon .
Police are also investigating the role of individuals who knowingly participated in the disputed land activity for financial gain despite being aware of the land dispute. Officials issued a strong warning that illegal land grabbing, encroachment attempts, and taking law into one’s own hands will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Inspector S. Srinath also warned that strict action, including implementation of the PD Act, would be taken against people who interfere in unrelated land disputes and disturb law and order in the name of “settlements.” He appealed to the public to resolve land-related disputes only through legal channels and cooperate with the police department.
