National Maritime Day: Recognising India’s Maritime Strength
భారతదేశ సముద్ర వారసత్వాన్ని గుర్తుచేసుకుంటూ జాతీయ సముద్ర దినోత్సవాన్ని దేశవ్యాప్తంగా జరుపుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సముద్ర రంగానికి చెందిన వారి సేవలను స్మరించుకున్నారు.
On National Maritime Day, India recalled its rich maritime heritage and honoured the contributions of those working in the sector.
భారతదేశం సముద్ర రంగంలో ఉన్న గొప్ప చరిత్రను మరోసారి గుర్తుచేసుకుంటూ జాతీయ సముద్ర దినోత్సవాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. దేశ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ, వాణిజ్యం, రవాణా రంగాల్లో సముద్ర మార్గాల పాత్ర కీలకమని ఈ సందర్భంగా గుర్తు చేశారు.
సముద్ర రంగంలో పనిచేస్తున్న నావికులు, పోర్టు సిబ్బంది, వ్యాపార వర్గాల కృషి దేశ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రధాన బలం అని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు. అంతర్జాతీయ వాణిజ్యంలో భారతదేశ స్థానం బలపడటానికి సముద్ర రంగం కీలకంగా మారిందని వివరించారు.
ప్రభుత్వం సముద్ర రంగ అభివృద్ధికి పలు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటూ, పోర్టుల ఆధునికీకరణ, సరుకు రవాణా సదుపాయాల పెంపు వంటి కార్యక్రమాలను కొనసాగిస్తోంది. భవిష్యత్తులో ఈ రంగాన్ని మరింత విస్తరించేందుకు కృషి చేస్తామని తెలిపారు.
