భారత్ ప్రతినిధి వర్గం, రష్యా ఉప ప్రధానమంత్రి Denis Manturovతో సమావేశమై ద్వైపాక్షిక సహకారంపై చర్చలు జరిపింది. ఈ సమావేశంలో వాణిజ్యం, ఎరువుల సరఫరా, ప్రజల మధ్య సంబంధాలు మరియు కనెక్టివిటీ వంటి కీలక అంశాలు ప్రాధాన్యత పొందాయి.
ఇద్దరు దేశాల మధ్య పరస్పర ప్రయోజనాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని సంబంధాలను మరింత బలోపేతం చేసే మార్గాలపై చర్చించబడింది. ముఖ్యంగా వ్యవసాయ రంగానికి అవసరమైన ఎరువుల సరఫరా నిరంతరంగా కొనసాగేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించారు.
గత ఏడాది డిసెంబర్లో భారత పర్యటన సందర్భంగా Vladimir Putin పాల్గొన్న 23వ భారత్–రష్యా వార్షిక శిఖరాగ్ర సమావేశంలో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాల అమలుపై రెండు పక్షాలు కొనసాగిస్తున్న ప్రయత్నాలను ఈ సందర్భంగా అభినందించారు. ఆ నిర్ణయాలను సమర్థవంతంగా అమలు చేయడం ద్వారా ద్వైపాక్షిక సంబంధాలు మరింత బలోపేతం అవుతాయని అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తమైంది.
India held talks with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation. Key areas discussed included trade, fertiliser supplies, people-to-people contacts, and connectivity.
Both sides explored ways to enhance mutually beneficial ties, particularly ensuring a steady supply of fertilisers critical for India’s agricultural sector. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to deepening strategic and economic cooperation.
The meeting also acknowledged ongoing efforts to implement decisions taken during the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit held during President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India in December last year. Both sides emphasized the importance of sustained follow-up to strengthen bilateral relations further.
