కాన్ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియన్ టెక్స్టైల్ ఇండస్ట్రీతో కలిసి నిర్వహించిన అటెక్స్కాన్-2026 సదస్సులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి పాల్గొని నివేదికను విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రులు, అధికారులు, జాతీయ మరియు అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రతినిధులు హాజరయ్యారు. టెక్స్టైల్ ఎగ్జిబిషన్ను కూడా సందర్శించారు.
సదస్సులో మాట్లాడుతూ, భారతదేశానికి వస్త్ర తయారీలో గొప్ప చరిత్ర ఉందని, తెలంగాణకు ఈ రంగంలో ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉందని చెప్పారు. నిజాం కాలంలోనే హైదరాబాద్లో వస్త్ర వ్యాపారం విస్తరించిందని గుర్తుచేశారు. పోచంపల్లి, గద్వాల, వరంగల్, నారాయణపేట వంటి ప్రాంతాల చేనేతకు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా గుర్తింపు ఉందన్నారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో పత్తి ఉత్పత్తి అధికంగా ఉండటం, నాణ్యత మంచి స్థాయిలో ఉండటం టెక్స్టైల్ రంగానికి బలమని తెలిపారు. వరంగల్లో కాకతీయ మెగా టెక్స్టైల్ పార్క్ ఏర్పాటు చేసి పరిశ్రమల అభివృద్ధికి ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
భూమి, విద్యుత్, నీరు వంటి మౌలిక వసతులు కల్పిస్తూ పెట్టుబడిదారులకు ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తి సహకారం అందిస్తుందని చెప్పారు. వేగవంతమైన అనుమతులు, ప్రపంచ స్థాయి విధానాలతో పెట్టుబడులకు అనుకూల వాతావరణం సృష్టిస్తున్నామని వెల్లడించారు.
2034 నాటికి ఒక ట్రిలియన్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా, 2047 నాటికి మూడు ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా రాష్ట్రాన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దడమే లక్ష్యమని తెలిపారు. యువతకు, ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలకు శిక్షణ అందిస్తూ ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు పెంచుతామని చెప్పారు.

At the Asia Textile Conference held in Hyderabad, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that Telangana aims to emerge as South Asia’s leading textile hub by 2047. He emphasized that the state government is working with a clear vision to strengthen the textile sector.
The state government, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry, organized ATEXCON-2026, where the Chief Minister released the conference report. Ministers, officials, and national and international delegates attended the event. The CM also visited the textile exhibition.
Addressing the gathering, he highlighted India’s rich history in textile production and Telangana’s strong legacy in the sector. He recalled that during the Nizam era, Hyderabad was a major hub for textile trade. Handloom products from Pochampally, Gadwal, Warangal, and Narayanpet have gained global recognition.
He noted that Telangana’s strength lies in its high cotton production and quality. The government has established the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal to boost industrial growth and attract investments in apparel manufacturing.
The state is providing essential infrastructure such as land, electricity, and water, along with fast-track approvals to investors. Policies are being aligned with global standards to create a competitive business environment.
The Chief Minister reiterated the vision of making Telangana a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He stressed skill development for youth, especially women, to generate employment opportunities.
He also underlined the importance of environmental sustainability, stating that green textile hubs will be developed. The government aims to position Telangana as a global textile ecosystem where garments produced in the state reach international markets.
