హైదరాబాద్లో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాలకు సొంత భవనాలు నిర్మించాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశించారు. వచ్చే మూడేళ్లలో అద్దె భవనాల స్థానంలో అన్ని కేంద్రాలు సొంత భవనాల్లో కొనసాగాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
అదే కార్యక్రమంలో అంగన్వాడీ చిన్నారుల కోసం బ్రేక్ఫాస్ట్ పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. అలాగే అంగన్వాడీ టీచర్లకు మొబైల్ ఫోన్ల పంపిణీని కూడా లాంఛనంగా ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ చర్యలు పిల్లల పోషకాహారం, సేవల పర్యవేక్షణను మెరుగుపరచడమే లక్ష్యంగా చేపట్టినవని ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ, పిల్లల ఆరోగ్యంపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టితో ఈ పథకాన్ని రూపొందించినట్లు తెలిపారు. గర్భధారణ దశ నుంచి చిన్నారి ఎదుగుదల వరకు పోషకాహారం కీలకమని పేర్కొన్నారు. మొదటి ఆరు సంవత్సరాలు పిల్లల అభివృద్ధిలో అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైన దశ అని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చే పథకాలు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో సిబ్బంది సమర్థవంతంగా అమలు చేసినప్పుడే ఫలితాలు కనిపిస్తాయని ఆయన సూచించారు. అంగన్వాడీ సిబ్బందిని కుటుంబ సభ్యుల్లా భావిస్తున్నామని, వారి సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించేందుకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తామని తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు సీతక్క, కొండా సురేఖ, బాలల హక్కుల పరిరక్షణ కమిషన్ చైర్మన్ సీతా దయాకర్ రెడ్డి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో పిల్లల ఆరోగ్యం, పోషకాహారం మెరుగుపర్చే దిశగా ఈ నిర్ణయం కీలకంగా భావిస్తున్నారు.

At a programme held in Hyderabad, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to prepare plans for constructing dedicated buildings for Anganwadi centres across Telangana. He stated that all centres should function from their own buildings instead of rented premises within the next three years.
During the event, the Chief Minister also formally launched a breakfast scheme for Anganwadi children and initiated the distribution of mobile phones to Anganwadi teachers. These measures aim to improve nutrition delivery and monitoring of services.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the scheme was designed with a focus on child health, covering nutrition from pregnancy to early childhood. He highlighted that the first six years are crucial for a child’s growth and development.
He noted that government schemes achieve success only when effectively implemented by field-level staff. He assured that Anganwadi workers are treated like family members and their issues will be addressed with priority.
Ministers Seethakka and Konda Surekha, along with Child Rights Commission Chairman Sita Dayakar Reddy and senior officials, attended the programme. The initiative is expected to significantly strengthen child nutrition and welfare systems in Telangana.
