తెలంగాణలో ప్రభుత్వ జీఓలను ఆన్లైన్లో ఉంచడంపై పారదర్శకత లేదని బీఆర్ఎస్ నేత ఎర్రోళ్ల శ్రీనివాస్ ఆరోపించారు. The issue of transparency in publishing Government Orders (GOs) in Telangana has come under criticism, with BRS leader Errolla Srinivas raising concerns.
తెలంగాణలో ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన తర్వాత మొత్తం 19,604 ప్రభుత్వ ఉత్తర్వులు (జీఓలు) జారీ చేసినప్పటికీ, అవి ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులో ఉండే విధంగా ఆన్లైన్లో ఉంచలేదని బీఆర్ఎస్ నాయకుడు, మాజీ ఎస్సీ ఎస్టీ కమిషన్ చైర్మన్ ఎర్రోళ్ల శ్రీనివాస్ విమర్శించారు. ప్రజా పాలన, పారదర్శక పాలన గురించి ప్రభుత్వం మాట్లాడుతున్నప్పటికీ, వాస్తవ పరిస్థితుల్లో పారదర్శకత కనిపించడం లేదని అన్నారు.
ఈ అంశంపై హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించినట్లు తెలిపారు. కోర్టు నాలుగు వారాల్లోగా అన్ని జీఓలను ఆన్లైన్లో ఉంచాలని ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చినట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. అయితే, ఆ గడువు పూర్తయిన తర్వాత కూడా ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించలేదని ఆరోపించారు. ప్రజలకు సమాచారం అందుబాటులో ఉండటం ప్రజాస్వామ్య వ్యవస్థలో ముఖ్యమని, ప్రభుత్వం తక్షణమే చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
The Telangana government has issued around 19,604 Government Orders (GOs) since assuming office, but they have not been made fully accessible online, alleged BRS leader and former SC/ST Commission chairman Errolla Srinivas. He questioned the government’s claims of transparency and public governance, stating that such practices contradict those claims.
He said the matter was taken to the High Court, which reportedly directed the government to upload all GOs online within four weeks. However, he alleged that the government has not responded even after the deadline. He emphasized that access to official information is a key aspect of democratic governance and urged the authorities to act promptly.
