Hyderabad: The Centre has approved a preliminary survey for the proposed Regional Ring Rail (RRR) project around Hyderabad aimed at improving inter-district connectivity and supporting regional economic growth.
హైదరాబాద్ చుట్టూ ప్రతిపాదించిన ఈ రీజినల్ రింగ్ రైల్ మార్గం ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్ (ORR) మరియు ప్రణాళికలో ఉన్న రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్ (RRR)కు అనుసంధానంగా ఉండేలా అభివృద్ధి చేసే అవకాశం ఉంది. దీని ద్వారా ప్రయాణికుల రవాణాతో పాటు సరుకు రవాణాకు కూడా మెరుగైన సదుపాయాలు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంది.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు అమలు ద్వారా హైదరాబాద్ పరిసర జిల్లాలకు మెరుగైన కనెక్టివిటీ లభించడంతో పాటు పరిశ్రమల అభివృద్ధికి కూడా తోడ్పాటు లభించే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా లాజిస్టిక్స్ రంగానికి ఇది ఉపయోగకరంగా మారి రవాణా ఖర్చులను తగ్గించే అవకాశం ఉంది.
ప్రాజెక్టు తదుపరి దశగా డీటైల్డ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ రిపోర్ట్ (DPR) సిద్ధం చేయనున్నారు. ఈ నివేదికలో సాంకేతిక అంశాలు, అంచనా వ్యయం, మార్గ నిర్ధారణ, నిర్మాణ దశలు వంటి అంశాలను పరిశీలించనున్నారు. ఈ నివేదిక ఆధారంగానే ప్రాజెక్టు సాధ్యతపై కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది.
రీజినల్ రింగ్ రైల్ ప్రాజెక్టుకు తుది అనుమతి డీపీఆర్ సమర్పణ అనంతరం నీతి ఆయోగ్ మరియు కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ సమీక్షల తర్వాత వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు అమలు అయితే హైదరాబాద్ ప్రాంతీయ అభివృద్ధికి ఇది కీలకంగా మారే అవకాశం ఉందని భావిస్తున్నారు.
The proposed Regional Ring Rail corridor is expected to run in coordination with the existing Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the proposed Regional Ring Road (RRR), creating an integrated transport network. The project is expected to benefit both passenger travel and freight transportation.
Officials believe the project will improve connectivity to surrounding districts of Hyderabad and support industrial expansion. Better rail infrastructure is also expected to strengthen the logistics sector and reduce transportation costs.
As part of the next phase, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared covering technical feasibility, estimated costs, alignment and implementation phases. The DPR will be crucial in deciding the viability and execution strategy of the project.
Final approval for the Regional Ring Rail project is expected after reviews by NITI Aayog and the Union Finance Ministry following submission of the DPR. The project is expected to play an important role in strengthening Hyderabad’s regional infrastructure and economic growth.
