Telangana is facing a shortage of commercial LPG cylinders, with supplies dropping to nearly 20% of normal demand, prompting the state government to seek additional allocation from the Centre.
తెలంగాణలో కమర్షియల్ ఎల్పీజీ (LPG) సిలిండర్ల కొరత వ్యాపార రంగంపై ప్రభావం చూపుతోంది. ముఖ్యంగా హోటళ్లు, రెస్టారెంట్లు, ఫుడ్ వ్యాపారాలు ఈ కొరత కారణంగా ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నాయి.
అధికారుల సమాచారం ప్రకారం, సాధారణంగా ఉండే సరఫరాతో పోలిస్తే ప్రస్తుతం కేవలం 20 శాతం మాత్రమే కమర్షియల్ గ్యాస్ అందుతున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. దీంతో పరిస్థితిని సమీక్షించిన రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని అదనపు సిలిండర్ల కేటాయింపుకు కోరింది.
సరఫరా పరిస్థితిని నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షించేందుకు ప్రత్యేక మానిటరింగ్ వ్యవస్థను కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. అవసరమైన చోట ప్రాధాన్యత ఆధారంగా సిలిండర్ల పంపిణీ జరుగుతుందని చెప్పారు.
ప్రజలు మరియు వ్యాపారులు ఆందోళనకు గురికాకుండా ఉండాలని, గ్యాస్ నిల్వలు చేసుకోవడానికి తొందరపడవద్దని కూడా అధికారులు సూచించారు. పరిస్థితి త్వరలో సాధారణ స్థితికి వస్తుందని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది.
The shortage has highlighted the importance of supply chain management in essential commercial fuel distribution. Officials said coordination with oil marketing companies is ongoing to stabilise supplies.
Authorities also appealed to businesses to use available stock judiciously until fresh supplies are restored. The situation is being closely monitored by the concerned departments.
