Rayanapadu Railway Station New Look Under Amrit Bharat Scheme
విజయవాడ సమీపంలోని రాయనపాడు రైల్వే స్టేషన్ను అమృత్ భారత్ పథకం కింద ఆధునిక సౌకర్యాలతో అభివృద్ధి చేసి త్వరలో ప్రారంభించేందుకు సిద్ధం చేశారు. The Rayanapadu railway station near Vijayawada has been redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat scheme with modern facilities and is set to be inaugurated soon.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో రైల్వే మౌలిక వసతులను మెరుగుపరచేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అమృత్ భారత్ పథకం కింద పలు రైల్వే స్టేషన్లను ఆధునీకరిస్తోంది. ఈ క్రమంలో విజయవాడ సమీపంలోని రాయనపాడు రైల్వే స్టేషన్ను కూడా ఆధునిక హంగులతో అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. ప్రయాణికులకు మెరుగైన సౌకర్యాలు అందించడంతో పాటు విజయవాడ రైల్వే స్టేషన్పై ఉన్న రద్దీని తగ్గించడమే ప్రధాన లక్ష్యంగా ఈ అభివృద్ధి చేపట్టారు.
The Indian Railways has been modernizing several railway stations across the country under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. As part of this initiative, the Rayanapadu railway station near Vijayawada has been upgraded with improved infrastructure and passenger amenities.
అమృత్ భారత్ పథకం కింద సుమారు రూ.19.90 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో ఈ స్టేషన్ను అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. కొత్త ప్లాట్ఫాంలు, ప్రయాణికుల కోసం వెయిటింగ్ హాల్స్, టికెట్ కౌంటర్లు, తాగునీటి సౌకర్యాలు, స్టేషన్ మాస్టర్ గది, ప్లాట్ఫాంలపై షెడ్లు వంటి మౌలిక వసతులను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. స్టేషన్ ప్రాంగణంలో మొక్కలతో గ్రీనరీ ఏర్పాటుచేసి ఆకర్షణీయంగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు.
The redevelopment project includes new platforms, passenger waiting halls, ticket counters, drinking water facilities, station master rooms and platform shelters. Green landscaping has also been developed around the station premises to enhance the overall appearance.
ఈ స్టేషన్ ప్రత్యేకతగా కొండపల్లి బొమ్మల సాంస్కృతిక శైలిని ప్రతిబింబించే పెయింటింగ్లతో అలంకరించారు. దీనివల్ల స్టేషన్కు ప్రత్యేకమైన సాంస్కృతిక గుర్తింపు లభించింది. కొత్త రూపంలో ఈ స్టేషన్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ తరహా ఆకర్షణీయ లుక్ను సంతరించుకుంది.
The station building has also been decorated with artwork inspired by Kondapalli toys, reflecting the cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh and giving the station a distinctive visual appeal.
ప్రస్తుతం ఈ స్టేషన్ మీదుగా రోజుకు సుమారు 12 రైళ్లు రాకపోకలు సాగిస్తున్నాయి. వీటిలో కొన్ని ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైళ్లు కూడా ఉన్నాయి. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో మరికొన్ని రైళ్లు ఇక్కడ ఆగే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు.
At present, around 12 trains pass through the station every day, including a few express trains. Railway officials say more trains may halt here in the future as passenger traffic increases.
విజయవాడ రైల్వే స్టేషన్లో ఉన్న రద్దీని తగ్గించేందుకు రాయనపాడు స్టేషన్ను ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. విశాఖపట్నం వైపు వెళ్లే మరియు అక్కడి నుంచి వచ్చే కొన్ని రైళ్లు విజయవాడ స్టేషన్కు వెళ్లకుండానే రాయనపాడుకు చేరుకునేలా ట్రాక్ సదుపాయం ఉంది.
The station is expected to play a key role in reducing congestion at Vijayawada railway station. Rail tracks allow certain trains heading towards Visakhapatnam to stop at Rayanapadu without entering Vijayawada station.
రాయనపాడులో దిగిన ప్రయాణికులు విజయవాడకు చేరుకునేందుకు ఆర్టీసీ బస్సులను ఏర్పాటు చేసే ప్రణాళిక ఉంది. అయితే రాత్రి వేళల్లో కూడా బస్సులు నడపాలని ప్రయాణికులు కోరుతున్నారు. హైదరాబాద్–విజయవాడ జాతీయ రహదారికి సమీపంలో ఉండటం కూడా ఈ స్టేషన్కు ప్రయోజనకరంగా మారనుంది.
Passengers arriving at Rayanapadu will be able to reach Vijayawada through RTC bus services planned by the authorities. Being located close to the Hyderabad–Vijayawada national highway is also expected to improve connectivity.
ఈ స్టేషన్ అభివృద్ధి పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి. త్వరలో ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ చేతుల మీదుగా అధికారికంగా ప్రారంభించే అవకాశం ఉందని రైల్వే అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
Railway officials indicated that the redevelopment works are complete and the station is expected to be inaugurated soon, likely by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
