Heatwave Alert in Telangana: IMD Warns of Rising Temperatures for Next 3 Days
మార్చి మొదటి వారంలోనే తెలంగాణలో ఎండల తీవ్రత పెరుగుతుండటంతో వాతావరణ శాఖ మూడు రోజుల పాటు హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసింది. కొన్ని జిల్లాల్లో ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు సాధారణం కంటే 2–3 డిగ్రీలు ఎక్కువగా నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించింది.
The India Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for parts of Telangana as temperatures rise sharply in the first week of March. Officials warned that temperatures may remain 2–3°C above normal for the next three days and advised people to take precautions.
తెలంగాణలో వేసవి ప్రారంభంలోనే భానుడి ప్రతాపం తీవ్రంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. ఉదయం నుంచే ప్రారంభమవుతున్న ఎండల ప్రభావం మధ్యాహ్నానికి మరింత పెరిగి ప్రజలను ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేస్తోంది. పగటి ఉష్ణోగ్రతలతో పాటు రాత్రి ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు కూడా పెరగడంతో ఉక్కపోత పరిస్థితులు నెలకొంటున్నాయి.
గత వారం రోజులుగా రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు జిల్లాల్లో గరిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు గణనీయంగా పెరిగాయి. ఉదయం 8 గంటల తర్వాతే బయటకు రావడం కష్టంగా మారుతుండగా, ఉదయం 10 గంటల తర్వాత అనేక ప్రాంతాల్లో రోడ్లు నిర్మానుష్యంగా మారుతున్నాయి. రాష్ట్రంలోని కొన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో ఇప్పటికే దాదాపు 40 డిగ్రీల వరకు ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదవుతున్నాయి.
వాతావరణ శాఖ విడుదల చేసిన అంచనాల ప్రకారం రాబోయే మూడు రోజుల్లో ఎండల తీవ్రత మరింత పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది. ముఖ్యంగా నల్గొండ, సూర్యాపేట, జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, ఖమ్మం, ములుగు జిల్లాల్లో భానుడి ప్రభావం ఎక్కువగా ఉండవచ్చని పేర్కొంది.
ఈ పరిస్థితుల నేపథ్యంలో వాతావరణ శాఖ ఎల్లో అలెర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. గరిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు సాధారణం కంటే రెండు నుంచి మూడు డిగ్రీలు అధికంగా నమోదయ్యే అవకాశముందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. అత్యవసరం అయితే తప్ప మధ్యాహ్నం సమయంలో బయటకు రావద్దని ప్రజలకు సూచిస్తున్నారు.
శుక్రవారం రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు జిల్లాల్లో 37 నుంచి 39 డిగ్రీల మధ్య ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యాయి. ములుగు జిల్లా మంగపేట మండలం మల్లూరులో అత్యధికంగా 39 డిగ్రీల గరిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రత నమోదైంది.
హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో కూడా ఎండల తీవ్రత స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. ఉదయం నుంచి సాయంత్రం వరకు ఉక్కపోతతో నగర వాసులు ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం నగరంలో సాధారణం కంటే సుమారు 2 డిగ్రీలు అధిక ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదవుతున్నాయి. ఇదే పరిస్థితి కొనసాగితే వచ్చే వారం రోజుల్లో పగటి ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 40 డిగ్రీలకు చేరే అవకాశముందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అధికారులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.
The intensity of summer has started early in Telangana this year, with rising temperatures being recorded across several districts. The heat begins from early morning and becomes more intense by afternoon, making outdoor movement difficult for many people.
According to the Meteorological Department, daytime and nighttime temperatures have increased, creating humid and uncomfortable conditions. Over the past week, maximum temperatures have risen significantly across the state, with several places already nearing 40°C.
The department has warned that the heat may intensify further over the next three days and has issued a yellow alert in several districts. Nalgonda, Suryapet, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam and Mulugu districts are expected to experience higher heat levels.
On Friday, maximum temperatures between 37°C and 39°C were recorded in multiple districts. The highest temperature of 39°C was reported in Malluru of Mangapet mandal in Mulugu district.
Hyderabad city is also witnessing rising heat levels. Residents are facing discomfort due to strong sunshine and humidity from morning until evening. Temperatures in the city are currently around 2°C above normal, and if the trend continues, daytime temperatures may reach 40°C within a week.
