Heat Wave Alert : తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో వేసవి తీవ్రత ముందుగానే ప్రారంభమైంది. గత వారం రోజులుగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణలో ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు సాధారణం కంటే ఐదు డిగ్రీల వరకు అధికంగా నమోదవుతున్నాయి. పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో టెంపరేచర్లు 37°C దాటగా, మరికొన్ని చోట్ల 40°Cకి చేరువయ్యాయి.

మార్చి ప్రారంభంలోనే తెలంగాణలో ఎండలు మండిపోతున్నాయి. సాధారణంగా ఏప్రిల్‌లో పెరిగే వేడి ఈసారి ముందుగానే ప్రభావం చూపుతోంది. ఉదయం 11 గంటల నుంచే భానుడు తీవ్రంగా మండుతుండటంతో ప్రజలు మధ్యాహ్న వేళ బయటకు వెళ్లడాన్ని తగ్గిస్తున్నారు.

వాతావరణ నిపుణుల అంచనా ప్రకారం, ఈసారి తెలంగాణలో సాధారణం కంటే అధిక ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది. ముఖ్యంగా ఉత్తర, దక్షిణ జిల్లాల్లో వేడి ప్రభావం ఎక్కువగా ఉండొచ్చని సూచిస్తున్నారు. గత రెండు, మూడు రోజులుగా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలతో పాటు ఉక్కపోత కూడా పెరిగింది.

మంగళవారం తెలంగాణలో 21 జిల్లాల్లో 37°Cకుపైగా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యాయి. హైదరాబాద్‌లో మాత్రం పగటి ఉష్ణోగ్రత 35°C వద్ద నిలిచింది. ములుగు జిల్లాలో అత్యధికంగా 37.4°C నమోదైంది. మరో రెండుమూడు రోజుల్లో రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో 40°C దాటే అవకాశముందని వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరించింది.

దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కూడా మార్చి నుంచి మే వరకు సాధారణం కంటే అధిక ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రంగా పనిచేస్తున్న భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ తెలిపింది. ఏప్రిల్, మే నెలల్లో దక్షిణ మరియు మధ్య భారతంలో హీట్ వేవ్ ప్రభావం అధికంగా ఉండొచ్చని అంచనా వేసింది. గత ఏడాది 44°C వరకు ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదైన నేపథ్యంలో, ఈసారి కూడా అదే స్థాయి వేడి ఉండొచ్చని హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసింది.

ప్రజలు అవసరమైతే తప్ప మధ్యాహ్న వేళ బయటకు వెళ్లకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. తగినంత నీరు తాగడం, తేలికపాటి దుస్తులు ధరించడం, వృద్ధులు మరియు పిల్లలపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ వహించడం అవసరమని సూచించారు.

Temperatures have sharply increased across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the past week, rising up to five degrees above normal. Several districts have recorded temperatures above 37°C, with some regions nearing the 40°C mark.

In Telangana, summer heat has intensified unusually early in March. Typically, peak heat is experienced in April, but this year the mercury has surged ahead of schedule. The sun has been harsh from as early as 11 am, reducing outdoor activity during afternoons.

Weather experts indicate that above-normal temperatures are likely across Telangana this season, particularly in northern and southern districts. Humidity levels have also increased in the last few days, adding to public discomfort.

On Tuesday, 21 districts in Telangana recorded temperatures above 37°C, while Hyderabad remained relatively lower at 35°C. Mulugu district recorded the highest at 37.4°C. The Meteorological Department has warned that temperatures may cross 40°C in the coming days.

The India Meteorological Department based in Hyderabad has projected higher-than-normal temperatures nationwide between March and May. Heat wave conditions are expected to intensify across southern and central India in April and May. With last year’s peak touching 44°C, similar trends are anticipated this season.

Authorities have advised people to avoid unnecessary travel during peak afternoon hours, stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and take special care of children and the elderly.
