హైదరాబాద్‌లోని లాలగూడాలో కల్తీ అల్లం–వెల్లుల్లి పేస్ట్ తయారీ కేంద్రంపై పోలీసులు దాడి చేసి నలుగురిని అరెస్టు చేశారు. అపరిశుభ్ర పరిస్థితుల్లో తయారుచేస్తున్న 1915 కేజీల పేస్ట్‌తో పాటు రసాయనాలను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.

హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలోని లాలగూడా ప్రాంతంలో కల్తీ అల్లం–వెల్లుల్లి పేస్ట్ తయారీ కేంద్రంపై పోలీసులు దాడి నిర్వహించారు. హైదరాబాద్ టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ పోలీసులు మరియు లాలగూడా పోలీసులు సంయుక్తంగా ఈ ఆపరేషన్ చేపట్టారు.

దాడి సమయంలో అపరిశుభ్ర పరిస్థితుల్లో అల్లం–వెల్లుల్లి పేస్ట్ తయారు చేస్తున్న నలుగురిని పోలీసులు అరెస్టు చేశారు. గోదాములో నిల్వ ఉంచిన సుమారు 1915 కిలోల అల్లం–వెల్లుల్లి పేస్ట్‌ను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.

దర్యాప్తులో పేస్ట్ తయారీలో ఎసిటిక్ యాసిడ్, క్సాంతమ్ గమ్ వంటి రసాయనాలు ఉపయోగిస్తున్నట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. ఈ పేస్ట్‌ను నకిలీ లేబుల్స్‌తో ప్యాక్ చేసి నగరంలోని కిరాణా దుకాణాలకు సరఫరా చేస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

నిందితులపై సంబంధిత చట్టాల కింద కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగిస్తున్నట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. ఆహార భద్రతకు విరుద్ధంగా పనిచేసే ఇటువంటి కేంద్రాలపై చర్యలు కొనసాగుతాయని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.

Police conducted a raid on an adulterated ginger–garlic paste manufacturing unit in Lalaguda area of Hyderabad. The operation was carried out jointly by Hyderabad Task Force police and Lalaguda police.

During the raid, four persons were arrested for preparing ginger–garlic paste in unhygienic conditions. Authorities seized around 1,915 kilograms of paste stored in the warehouse.

Investigations revealed that chemicals such as acetic acid and xanthan gum were being used in the preparation process. The paste was reportedly packed with fake labels and supplied to grocery stores across the city.

Police registered a case against the accused and further investigation is underway. Officials stated that strict action will continue against illegal food manufacturing units that compromise public health.
