హైదరాబాద్లోని జ్యోతిరావ్ ఫూలే ప్రజా భవన్లో సమాచార మరియు ప్రజాసంబంధాల శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో అంతర్జాతీయ మహిళా దినోత్సవ వేడుకలు నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి పాల్గొన్నారు.
మహిళల సాధికారత, సమాన అవకాశాలు మరియు సమాజంలో మహిళల పాత్రపై అవగాహన పెంచేందుకు ఈ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. వివిధ రంగాల్లో ప్రతిభ కనబరుస్తున్న మహిళలను అభినందిస్తూ వారి కృషిని గుర్తించే కార్యక్రమాలు కూడా నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మహిళా అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమం, విద్య, ఉపాధి వంటి అంశాలపై ప్రభుత్వ చర్యల గురించి చర్చించబడింది. మహిళల భాగస్వామ్యం పెరిగితే సమాజ అభివృద్ధి వేగవంతమవుతుందని కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న నేతలు పేర్కొన్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వ అధికారులు, మహిళా ప్రతినిధులు, పలు రంగాలకు చెందిన ప్రముఖులు కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
The International Women’s Day celebrations were organised by the Information and Public Relations Department at Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended the event.
Officials said the programme was aimed at promoting awareness about women’s empowerment, equal opportunities and the role of women in society. Activities recognising the achievements of women from different fields were also part of the celebrations.
Discussions were held on initiatives related to women’s welfare, education, employment and empowerment. Participants noted that greater participation of women contributes significantly to the development of society.
Government officials, women representatives and several guests from different sectors attended the programme.
