Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the HYDRAA-rejuvenated Bum Rukn-ud-Dowla Lake at Shivarampally in Hyderabad, highlighting the government’s efforts to restore city lakes and improve the urban environment.
హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో చెరువుల సంరక్షణ, పునరుద్ధరణకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తోంది. ఈ క్రమంలో శివరాంపల్లిలో ఉన్న బుమ్ రుక్న్-ఉద్-దౌలా చెరువును HYDRAA ఆధ్వర్యంలో పునరుద్ధరించి ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చారు.
The Telangana government is giving special focus to protecting and restoring lakes in Hyderabad. As part of this initiative, the Bum Rukn-ud-Dowla Lake at Shivarampally has been rejuvenated under the HYDRAA project and reopened for public use.
చెరువుల పునరుద్ధరణతో నగర పర్యావరణ సమతౌల్యం మెరుగుపడటంతో పాటు ప్రజలకు విశ్రాంతి, వినోదం కోసం అనుకూలమైన ప్రదేశాలు అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. నగర అభివృద్ధిలో భాగంగా చెరువుల చుట్టూ అందమైన ప్రదేశాలు, వాకింగ్ ట్రాక్లు, పచ్చదనం పెంపొందించే చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
Officials said that restoring lakes helps improve the ecological balance of the city while also creating recreational spaces for residents. As part of urban development, beautification works, walking tracks and greenery are being developed around the lakes.
హైదరాబాద్లో ఆక్రమణలకు గురైన చెరువులను గుర్తించి వాటిని శుభ్రపరచి పునరుద్ధరించే కార్యక్రమం కొనసాగుతోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఈ చర్యల ద్వారా నగరాన్ని పర్యావరణ పరంగా మరింత సుస్థిరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలని ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది.
Authorities added that efforts are underway to identify encroached lakes and restore them after clearing illegal structures. These initiatives aim to make Hyderabad more environmentally sustainable and livable.
