హైదరాబాద్ శివరాంపల్లిలో హైడ్రా ఆధ్వర్యంలో పునరుద్ధరించి సుందరంగా అభివృద్ధి చేసిన బుమ్-రుక్న్-ఉద్-దౌలా చెరువును ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, ఎంపీలు అసదుద్దీన్ ఓవైసీ, అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్ తదితర ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
The restored Boom-Rukn-Ud-Daula lake at Shivaramapalli in Hyderabad was inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, MPs Asaduddin Owaisi and Anil Kumar Yadav, along with other public representatives and officials, attended the event.
ప్రారంభోత్సవ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రజలకు మంచి వాతావరణం, సాంస్కృతిక ప్రాధాన్యత కలిగిన ప్రదేశాన్ని అందించేందుకు చెరువును పూర్తిస్థాయిలో పునరుద్ధరించామని చెప్పారు.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the lake was completely restored to provide citizens with a pleasant environment and a culturally significant public space.
నైట్ ఎకానమీకి ప్రోత్సాహం | Boost to Night Economy
పునరుద్ధరించిన చెరువుల పరిసరాల్లో నైట్ ఎకానమీ అభివృద్ధి కోసం స్టాల్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశించినట్లు తెలిపారు. స్థానికులు పాలు, పండ్లు, కూరగాయలు వంటి ఉత్పత్తులను పరిశుభ్రమైన వాతావరణంలో విక్రయించేందుకు అవకాశం కల్పిస్తామని పేర్కొన్నారు.
He directed officials to set up stalls around restored lakes to promote a night economy. Local residents will be able to sell milk, fruits and vegetables in a clean and organized environment.
స్థానిక మహిళలు, యువత ఉదయం మరియు సాయంత్రం సమయాల్లో స్వేచ్ఛగా వాకింగ్ చేసేందుకు లేక్ పోలీసింగ్ వ్యవస్థను కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
He also said a lake policing system will be introduced so that women and residents can safely walk around the lake during mornings and evenings.
పాత వైభవాన్ని తిరిగి తీసుకురావాలనే లక్ష్యం | Restoring the City’s Heritage
హైదరాబాద్ ఒకప్పుడు రాక్స్ మరియు చెరువులతో ప్రపంచంలోనే సుందరమైన నగరంగా నిలిచిందని, ఆ వైభవాన్ని తిరిగి తీసుకురావాలన్న సంకల్పంతో ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. ఆక్రమణలకు గురైన చెరువులు, నాలాలను శుభ్రం చేసి పునరుద్ధరించే కార్యక్రమం కొనసాగుతోందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
The Chief Minister noted that Hyderabad was once known globally for its rocks and lakes, and the government is working to restore that legacy. Efforts are underway to clear encroachments and rejuvenate lakes and drainage channels.
ఈ ప్రాంతాన్ని ‘ఓల్డ్ సిటీ’గా కాకుండా ‘ఒరిజినల్ సిటీ’గా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుందని చెప్పారు. ఇటీవల కొత్వాల్గూడ్ ఎకో పార్క్ ప్రారంభించామని, మెట్రో విస్తరణ పనులు త్వరలో పూర్తిచేస్తామని తెలిపారు. మిరాలం ట్యాంక్ బ్రిడ్జ్ పనులు ప్రారంభమయ్యాయని, సమీపంలో హైకోర్టు కొత్త భవనం నిర్మాణం జరుగుతోందని, ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణం కూడా కొనసాగుతోందని వివరించారు.
He said the government aims to develop the area as the “Original City” rather than calling it the Old City. Recently, Kotwalguda Eco Park was inaugurated, metro expansion works are progressing, Mir Alam Tank bridge construction has begun, a new High Court building is coming up nearby, and the Osmania Hospital project is underway.
ప్రజాపాలన–ప్రగతి ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా హైదరాబాద్ అభివృద్ధికి అనేక కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టామని పేర్కొంటూ, నగర అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలకు ప్రజలు మద్దతు ఇవ్వాలని కోరారు.
He added that several initiatives are being implemented in Hyderabad as part of the Praja Palana–Pragati Plan and urged citizens to support development works in the city.

On the occasion, he also conveyed Ramzan greetings to the Muslim community.
