The Srishti surrogacy case has taken a significant turn with the Enforcement Directorate arresting Dr. Namrata and her son in Hyderabad. Authorities allege that infants were purchased from tribal families and falsely projected as surrogacy births to collect huge sums of money.
During searches at Srishti Fertility Center, officials reportedly identified illegal assets worth around ₹30 crore and froze eight bank accounts linked to the case. The ED is probing the financial transactions under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
