76-year-old man goes missing in Shamirpet; Genome Valley police register case and begin search.
శామీర్పేట్, మార్చి 13: మేడ్చల్ జిల్లా ఎల్లంపేట మున్సిపాలిటీ పరిధిలోని ఘనపూర్ గ్రామానికి చెందిన అర్జున్ గౌడ్ (76) అదృశ్యమైన ఘటన జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో నమోదైంది. ఈ నెల 7న అలియాబాద్ ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్తున్నానని కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు చెప్పి ఇంటి నుంచి వెళ్లిన అర్జున్ గౌడ్, అదే రోజు మధ్యాహ్నం ఖానాపూర్కు వెళ్తున్నట్లు సమాచారం ఇచ్చిన తర్వాత తిరిగి ఇంటికి రాలేదు.
కుటుంబ సభ్యులు బంధువుల ఇళ్లలో మరియు పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో వెతికినా ఆచూకీ లభించలేదు. దీంతో శుక్రవారం జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. పోలీసులు మిస్సింగ్ కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు.
అర్జున్ గౌడ్ తెల్లటి చొక్కా, తెల్లటి దోతి ధరించి ఉండగా, తల వెంట్రుకలు పూర్తిగా తెల్లగా ఉన్నట్లు తెలిపారు. చేతికర్ర సహాయంతో నడుస్తారని పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు. ఆచూకీ తెలిసిన వారు జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ను సంప్రదించాలని కోరారు.
Shamirpet, March 13: A missing case has been registered at Genome Valley Police Station after a 76-year-old man, Arjun Goud from Ghanpur village under Yellampet Municipality in Medchal district, went missing.
According to police, he left his house on March 7 stating that he was going to Aliabad. Later the same afternoon, he reportedly informed that he would be going to Khanapur. However, he did not return home thereafter.
Family members searched at relatives’ houses and nearby areas but could not trace him. A complaint was lodged on Friday, following which police registered a missing case and initiated an investigation.
Police said he was wearing a white shirt and white dhoti, had completely grey hair and was walking with the help of a stick. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is requested to contact Genome Valley Police.
