The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids on Tuesday night at the residence of YSR Congress Party leader Battala Hariprasad in Vijayawada. As he was reportedly not present at the time, officials collected relevant documents and details from his family members. The raid is linked to allegations of bribery in medical college seat allocations and granting permissions to private institutions.
