The three-day Food Festival kicked off in Visakhapatnam, drawing huge crowds. Organized by the Tourism Department in collaboration with hotels, the festival is offering visitors a variety of cuisines and cultural performances.
విశాఖలో ఫుడ్ ఫెస్టివల్ ఘనంగా ప్రారంభమైంది. పర్యాటకశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో, నగరంలోని స్టార్ హోటళ్ల నుంచి సాధారణ హోటళ్ల వరకు అనేక సంస్థలు పాల్గొన్నాయి. మూడు రోజులపాటు జరిగే ఈ ఉత్సవంలో వివిధ ఫుడ్ స్టాళ్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయబడ్డాయి. అధికారులు తెలిపిన ప్రకారం సుమారు 38,000 మంది ఈ ఫెస్టివల్ను సందర్శించారు.
ఎంపీ భరత్, పర్యాటకశాఖ ప్రత్యేక ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి అజయ్ జైన్, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ హరేందిర ప్రసాద్ ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. మెయిన్ కోర్సు విభాగంలో డాల్ఫిన్ హోటల్స్ మొదటి బహుమతి గెలుచుకుంది. సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు సందర్శకులను ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి.
కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరైన ఎంపీ భరత్ మాట్లాడుతూ, ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగపడే ఏ వినూత్న కార్యక్రమం వైజాగ్లో విజయవంతమవుతుందని, ఇలాంటి ఉత్సవాలు మరింత అవసరమని అన్నారు.
అజయ్ జైన్ మాట్లాడుతూ, దాదాపు ఆరు సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత ఇంత పెద్ద ఎత్తున ఫుడ్ ఫెస్టివల్ను నిర్వహించడం విశేషమని, భవిష్యత్తులో మరెన్నో కార్యక్రమాలను విశాఖను వేదికగా చేసుకుంటామని తెలిపారు. ఆంధ్ర, విదేశీ రుచులను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చిన పాకశాస్త్ర నిపుణులను ప్రశంసించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఒక యువతి మంటలతో చేసిన నృత్య విన్యాసం ప్రేక్షకులను అబ్బురపరిచింది.
The three-day Food Festival began in Visakhapatnam with great fervor, attracting thousands of visitors. Organized by the Tourism Department in collaboration with hotels across the city, the festival is serving a wide range of cuisines and cultural entertainment.
The festival saw the participation of star hotels as well as local restaurants, each setting up unique food stalls. According to officials, nearly 38,000 people visited the event on its opening day.
MP Bharat, Tourism Department Special Chief Secretary Ajay Jain, and District Collector Harendira Prasad attended the festival. Dolphin Hotels won the first prize in the main course category. Cultural performances, including dance shows, kept the visitors entertained.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Bharat said that any innovative program conducted in Vizag for the benefit of people is bound to succeed and emphasized the need for more such festivals in the future.
Ajay Jain highlighted that this was the first large-scale food festival in nearly six years and assured that many more such events will be hosted in Visakhapatnam in the coming years. He praised the culinary experts for bringing together Andhra and international flavors under one roof.
A special highlight of the event was a young artist’s fiery dance performance, which left the audience mesmerized.
