Telangana government finalises new fee structure for 157 private engineering colleges for the next three academic years.
రాష్ట్రంలోని 157 ప్రైవేటు ఇంజినీరింగ్ కాలేజీలకు 2025-26 నుంచి మూడు విద్యా సంవత్సరాల కోసం కొత్త ఫీజులను టీఏఎఫ్ఆర్సీ ఖరారు చేసి ప్రభుత్వానికి నివేదిక సమర్పించింది. Telangana government finalises new fee structure for 157 private engineering colleges for the next three academic years.
రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న 157 ప్రైవేటు ఇంజినీరింగ్ కాలేజీలకు 2025-26, 2026-27, 2027-28 విద్యా సంవత్సరాలకుగాను కొత్త ఫీజులను టీఏఎఫ్ఆర్సీ (TAFRC) ఖరారు చేసింది. కాలేజీల ఆదాయ-వ్యయాలు, మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు, అధ్యాపక సిబ్బంది, అకడమిక్ ప్రమాణాలను పరిగణలోకి తీసుకుని ఫీజులను నిర్ణయించి నివేదికను ప్రభుత్వానికి పంపించింది. త్వరలో దీనిపై అధికారిక జీవో వెలువడనుంది.
ప్రైవేటు ఇంజినీరింగ్ కాలేజీల ఫీజుల నియంత్రణ విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం కఠినంగా వ్యవహరించింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని 70 కాలేజీలలో పాత ఫీజులనే యథాతథంగా కొనసాగించాలని నిర్ణయించగా, 63 కాలేజీలలో ఫీజులు పెరిగాయి. మరో 19 కాలేజీలలో గతంతో పోలిస్తే ఫీజులు తగ్గించబడినట్లు సమాచారం.
అత్యధిక ఫీజు Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (సీబీఐటీ)లో రూ.1.83 లక్షలుగా ఖరారైంది. గత ఏడాది వరకు ఇది రూ.1.65 లక్షలు ఉండగా, ఈసారి రూ.18 వేల పెంపు జరిగింది. అత్యధికంగా రూ.62 వేల పెంపు G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Scienceలో నమోదైంది.
ఫీజుల పెంపు పరంగా తొమ్మిది కాలేజీలలో రూ.20 వేల నుంచి రూ.35 వేల లోపు, మరో 18 కాలేజీలలో రూ.10 వేల నుంచి రూ.20 వేల లోపు, 36 కాలేజీలలో రూ.10 వేల లోపు పెంపు జరిగింది.
రూ.లక్షకు పైగా ఫీజులు ఉన్న ప్రముఖ కాలేజీలు ఇవి:
- Vasavi College of Engineering – రూ.1.75 లక్షలు
- Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology – రూ.1.67 లక్షలు
- CVR College of Engineering – రూ.1.63 లక్షలు
- Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology – రూ.1.60 లక్షలు
- VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology – రూ.1.59 లక్షలు
- BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women – రూ.1.43 లక్షలు
- Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology – రూ.1.21 లక్షలు
- Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus – రూ.1.29 లక్షలు
- CMR Technical Campus – రూ.1.46 లక్షలు
- Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College – రూ.1.44 లక్షలు
- Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology – రూ.1.33 లక్షలు
- Vardhaman College of Engineering – రూ.1.40 లక్షలు
అదేవిధంగా రూ.1 లక్ష ఫీజు ఖరారైన కాలేజీలు: Gate Institute of Technology and Sciences, Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, Matrusri Engineering College.
The revised fee structure will be applicable for three academic years. While several top colleges have witnessed marginal hikes, the government has retained existing fees in a significant number of institutions and reduced them in some cases, aiming to balance quality education with affordability.
