రాజస్థాన్ రాష్ట్రంలోని ఖైర్తల్–తిజారా జిల్లా భివాడీలోని ఖుష్ఖేరా–కరౌలి ఇండస్ట్రియల్ ఏరియాలో సోమవారం ఉదయం కెమికల్ ఫ్యాక్టరీలో భారీ అగ్నిప్రమాదం చోటు చేసుకుంది.
ప్రమాదం సమయంలో ఫ్యాక్టరీలో తొమ్మిది మంది కార్మికులు ఉన్నారని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. వారిలో ఎనిమిది మంది మంటల్లో చిక్కుకుని మృతిచెందారు. మరో కార్మికుడి కోసం రెస్క్యూ ఆపరేషన్ కొనసాగుతోంది.
సమాచారం అందుకున్న వెంటనే అగ్నిమాపక సిబ్బంది సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని గంటన్నర పాటు నిరంతరాయంగా శ్రమించి మంటలను అదుపులోకి తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఫ్యాక్టరీలో నిల్వ ఉంచిన రసాయనాల కారణంగా మంటలు వేగంగా వ్యాపించాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ప్రమాదానికి గల కారణాలపై పోలీసులు ప్రాథమిక దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు. ఉన్నతాధికారులు సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని సహాయక చర్యలను పర్యవేక్షించారు. ఘటనలో మృతుల కుటుంబ సభ్యులు తీవ్ర దిగ్భ్రాంతికి గురయ్యారు.
A tragic incident occurred in Khairthal–Tijara district of Rajasthan, where a massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Khushkhera–Karauli industrial area of Bhiwadi on Monday morning.
According to officials, nine workers were inside the factory at the time of the accident. Eight workers died after being trapped in the fire, while rescue operations continued to locate another worker.
Firefighters rushed to the spot soon after receiving information and battled the blaze for nearly one and a half hours before bringing it under control. Authorities said chemicals stored in the factory helped the flames spread rapidly, making rescue efforts difficult.
Police have launched a preliminary investigation into the cause of the fire. Senior district officials, including police and administrative authorities, reached the site to monitor rescue operations and gather details. Families of the deceased gathered at the location as authorities continued relief efforts.
