CM Revanth Reddy invites Rajnath for Gandhi Sarovar
మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవన కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ప్రతిష్టాత్మక గాంధీ సరోవర్ ప్రాజెక్ట్కు ఫౌండేషన్ వేడుక నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి కేంద్ర రక్షణ మంత్రి రాజ్నాథ్ సింగ్ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రత్యేకంగా ఆహ్వానించారు.
న్యూఢిల్లీ పర్యటన సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి రక్షణ మంత్రిని కలుసుకుని గాంధీ సరోవర్ ప్రాజెక్ట్పై వివరాలు వెల్లడించారు. ఫిబ్రవరి చివరి వారంలో ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ పనులను ప్రారంభించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ఈసా మరియు మూసీ నదుల సంగమ ప్రాంతంలో అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నారు.
1948 ఫిబ్రవరిలో మహాత్మా గాంధీ అస్తికలలో భాగాన్ని ఈసా–మూసీ సంగమంలో నిమజ్జనం చేసిన విషయాన్ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గుర్తుచేశారు. గాంధీ సరోవర్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవన కార్యక్రమంలో కీలక భాగంగా చేపడుతున్నట్టు వివరించారు.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ద్వారా బాపూఘాట్ను విద్యా, సాంస్కృతిక, ఆధ్యాత్మిక మరియు పర్యావరణ పరమైన ప్రాధాన్యం కలిగిన అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు. మహాత్మా గాంధీ ఆశయాలకు జీవంత స్మారకంగా ఈ ప్రదేశాన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దే దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం ముందడుగు వేస్తోంది.

During his visit to New Delhi, the Chief Minister met the Union Defence Minister and briefed him on the proposed Gandhi Sarovar Project, scheduled to be launched in the last week of February. The project will be developed at the confluence of the Esa and Musi rivers.
Recalling that a portion of Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes was immersed at the Esa–Musi confluence in February 1948, the Chief Minister stated that the Gandhi Sarovar Project forms an integral part of the larger Musi River Rejuvenation Programme.
The plan envisages transforming Bapu Ghat into a world-class centre of educational, cultural, spiritual, and ecological significance, serving as a living tribute to the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
Members of Parliament A.K.Y.N., Mallu Ravi, Kaka Vamsi Gaddam, and Kadiyam Kavya were present at the meeting.

As part of the Musi River Rejuvenation Initiative, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy invited Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to the foundation ceremony of the Gandhi Sarovar Project at the Esa–Musi river confluence.
