ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో సంచలనం సృష్టించిన అన్నమయ్య జిల్లా మదనపల్లె బాలిక హత్య కేసులో కీలక మలుపు చోటు చేసుకుంది. బాలికపై హత్య కేసులో నిందితుడిగా గుర్తించిన కులవర్దన్ మృతదేహం కురబలకోట మండలం కంసానివారిపల్లె సమీపంలోని చెరువులో లభించింది. పోలీసులు ఘటన స్థలానికి చేరుకొని మృతదేహాన్ని బయటకు తీయించి పోస్టుమార్టం నిమిత్తం ప్రభుత్వాస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. చెరువులో దూకి బలవన్మరణానికి పాల్పడినట్లు ప్రాథమికంగా అనుమానిస్తున్నప్పటికీ, మరణానికి ఖచ్చితమైన కారణాలపై విచారణ కొనసాగుతోంది.
మదనపల్లె పట్టణ శివారులోని నీరుగట్టువారిపల్లిలో నివసించే దంపతుల ఏడేళ్ల బాలిక సోమవారం సాయంత్రం నుంచి కనిపించకుండా పోయింది. రెండో తరగతి చదువుతున్న బాలిక ఆచూకీ లభించకపోవడంతో తల్లిదండ్రులు పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేయగా, మిస్సింగ్ కేసు నమోదు చేసి గాలింపు చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. అనంతరం పొరుగింట్లోనే చిన్నారి మృతదేహం లభించడం కలకలం రేపింది. బాలికపై దాడి చేసి హత్య చేసిన తర్వాత మృతదేహాన్ని డ్రమ్ములో దాచినట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు.
సీసీటీవీ దృశ్యాలను పరిశీలించిన పోలీసులు ఇంటి పక్కనే నివసించే కులవర్దన్ బాలికను తీసుకెళ్లినట్లు నిర్ధారించారు. నిందితుడికి నేర చరిత్ర ఉన్నట్లు గుర్తించిన పోలీసులు అతని ఇంటిని తనిఖీ చేయగా డ్రమ్ములో బాలిక మృతదేహం కనిపించింది. కేసు విచారణలో భాగంగా నిందితుడి కోసం గాలింపు కొనసాగుతున్న సమయంలో బుధవారం ఉదయం అతని మృతదేహం చెరువులో లభించింది. ఘటనపై అన్ని కోణాల్లో పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.
In a significant development in the sensational Madanapalle girl murder case in Andhra Pradesh, the accused Kulavardhan was found dead in a pond near Kamsanivaripalle of Kurabalakota mandal. Police shifted the body to a government hospital for post-mortem and suspect suicide by drowning, while continuing investigation to confirm the exact cause of death.
The seven-year-old girl from Neerugattivaripalle on the outskirts of Madanapalle had gone missing on Monday evening. After a missing complaint by her parents, police launched a search and later found the child’s body in a drum inside a neighbouring house, indicating assault followed by murder.
CCTV footage confirmed that Kulavardhan, a neighbour with prior criminal history, had taken the girl. While police were searching for him, his body was discovered in a nearby pond on Wednesday morning. Authorities stated that investigation is continuing from all possible angles.
