బండి సంజయ్ గ్రానైట్ అసోసియేషన్పై తీవ్ర విమర్శలు చేస్తూ, బీఆర్ఎస్కు కోట్ల రూపాయలు దోచిపెడుతున్నారని ప్రశ్నించారు.

కరీంనగర్లో కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి బండి సంజయ్ గ్రానైట్ అసోసియేషన్ నాయకులపై ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. 20 ఏళ్లుగా గ్రానైట్ వ్యాపారులు బీఆర్ఎస్కు కోట్ల రూపాయలు దోచిపెడుతున్నారని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు. ఒక్కో కటింగ్ మిషన్ దుకాణం నుండి రూ.10 లక్షల నుంచి రూ.50 లక్షల వరకు వసూలు చేసి, ఆ డబ్బును సమాజ సేవకు వినియోగించలేదని ప్రశ్నించారు. తాము లంచం తీసుకున్నారని జరుగుతున్న దుష్ప్రచారాన్ని కూడా ఖండించారు.
గణేశ్ నిమజ్జన ఏర్పాట్లను పరిశీలించేందుకు మానకొండూరు చెరువు వద్దకు వచ్చిన సంజయ్, వ్యాపారులపై చురకలు విసిరారు. “బీఆర్ఎస్కు వందల కోట్లు ఇస్తారు కానీ సమాజానికి ఒక్క పైసా సేవ చేయలేదు” అని ఆయన అన్నారు. కేంద్రానికి కేవలం రూ.300 కోట్లు మాత్రమే చెల్లించినా, బయట వెయ్యి కోట్లు ఇచ్చినట్లు ప్రచారం చేసుకుంటున్నారని ఆరోపించారు.
వసూలు చేసిన డబ్బుతో సమాజానికి కనీసం గణేశ్ మండపాలకు మట్టి, కరెంట్ బిల్లులు, పోలీసులకు భోజనం వంటి సేవలు చేయలేదని బండి సంజయ్ ప్రశ్నించారు. త్వరలోనే గ్రానైట్ అసోసియేషన్ ఆర్థిక లెక్కలన్నీ బయట పెడతానని హెచ్చరించారు. దీనిపై అసోసియేషన్ నాయకులు సమాజానికి సేవ చేస్తామని, త్వరలో మోదీకి ధన్యవాదాలు తెలుపుతామని సమాధానమిచ్చారు.
తరువాత సంజయ్ మాట్లాడుతూ, వ్యాపారులు ఎవరికీ పైసలు ఇవ్వకుండా స్వేచ్ఛగా వ్యాపారం చేసే పరిస్థితి కల్పిస్తానని, సమాజ సేవలో ముందుండాలని సూచించారు.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar strongly criticized the Granite Association leaders in Karimnagar, alleging that for over 20 years they have been funneling crores of rupees to the BRS. He said each cutting machine shop was forced to pay between ₹10 lakh to ₹50 lakh in the name of membership, but none of that money was used for community service. He also condemned the false propaganda that he had taken bribes from granite traders.
While inspecting Ganesh immersion arrangements at Manakondur cheruvu, Sanjay questioned the traders: “You pay hundreds of crores to BRS but not a single rupee for society.” He pointed out that though only ₹300 crores were paid to the Centre, the association boasted of paying ₹1,000 crores. He accused them of failing to provide even basic support during Ganesh festivities like soil, power bills, or food and water for police on duty.
He warned that the complete financial records of the Granite Association would soon be made public. In response, the leaders said they were conducting some community services and promised to thank PM Modi soon.
Concluding, Sanjay assured traders that he would create a system where they could do business freely without paying bribes and urged them to focus on genuine social service.
