పార్టీ మారిన ఎమ్మెల్యేలు దమ్ముంటే రాజీనామా చేసి తిరిగి గెలవాలని బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ సవాలు విసిరారు. త్వరలోనే ఆ స్థానాల్లో ఉప ఎన్నికలు జరుగుతాయని ఆయన అన్నారు.

హైదరాబాద్ శేరిలింగంపల్లిలో బీఆర్ఎస్ ముఖ్య కార్యకర్తల సమావేశంలో కేటీఆర్ మాట్లాడారు. 2018లో శేరిలింగంపల్లి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా గెలిచిన అరికెపూడి గాంధీకి క్యాబినెట్ ర్యాంక్ సమానమైన విప్ పదవి ఇచ్చామని ఆయన గుర్తుచేశారు. శేరిలింగంపల్లిలో రూ.9,500 కోట్లతో అభివృద్ధి పనులు జరిపామని వివరించారు.
కేటీఆర్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “కేసీఆర్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో బీఆర్ఎస్కు ప్రజలు ఓటు వేశారు. జిల్లాలో మాత్రం కాంగ్రెస్ మాయమాటలతో మోసం చేసింది. ఎవరి అభివృద్ధి కోసం అరికెపూడి గాంధీ పార్టీ మార్చారు? 18 నెలల్లో చేసిన అభివృద్ధి ఏంటి? తొందరలోనే పార్టీ మారిన ఎమ్మెల్యేల స్థానాల్లో ఉప ఎన్నికలు వస్తాయి. అప్పుడే కేసీఆర్ సత్తా ఏంటో, రేవంత్ రెడ్డి స్థాయి ఏంటో తెలుస్తుంది” అని అన్నారు.
అరికెపూడి గాంధీపై విమర్శలు చేస్తూ, ఆయన పార్టీని ద్రోహం చేశారని కేటీఆర్ వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. బైఎlections వస్తే తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు కాంగ్రెస్కు బాయ్ బాయ్ చెబుతారని అన్నారు. పార్టీ పునర్నిర్మాణం కోసం కొత్త కమిటీలు ఏర్పాటుచేస్తామని చెప్పారు.
రేవంత్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఆక్షేపిస్తూ, “కరోనా సమయంలో రూపాయి ఆదాయం లేకపోయినా అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమం కొనసాగించాం. కానీ ఇప్పుడు రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రజలను తప్పుదోవ పట్టిస్తున్నారు. హైడ్రా పేరుతో పేదల కడుపు కొడుతున్నారు. హైడ్రా వల్ల కాంగ్రెస్ తప్ప ఎవరికి లాభం లేదు. పేదల ఇళ్లు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి కానీ రేవంత్ సోదరుడి ఇల్లు మాత్రం కనబడదు. విచ్చలవిడిగా ఆర్ఆర్ ట్యాక్స్ వసూళ్లు, సెటిల్మెంట్లు చేస్తున్నారు” అని కేటీఆర్ విమర్శించారు.

Speaking at a key BRS workers’ meeting in Serilingampally constituency, KTR recalled that in 2018, Arikapudi Gandhi was elected as MLA from Serilingampally and was given the post of government whip with cabinet rank. He said BRS had sanctioned and completed development works worth ₹9,500 crore in Serilingampally.
KTR added, “People voted for BRS in Serilingampally because of KCR. But in the district, people believed Congress’ false promises and were deceived. For whose development did Arikapudi Gandhi change the party? What development has he achieved in 18 months? Soon, by-elections will come in those constituencies where MLAs defected. Then, the real strength of KCR and Revanth Reddy will be seen.”
Attacking Arikapudi Gandhi, KTR alleged that he betrayed the party that nurtured him. He said Telangana people will say goodbye to Congress in the coming by-elections. He also announced that the party will be reorganized with new committees at the division level.
Criticizing CM Revanth Reddy’s government, KTR said, “During the corona crisis, even without any income, we continued development and welfare programs. But now Revanth Reddy is misleading people by showing debts as an excuse. With Hydra, they are targeting the poor. Hydra is useful only for Congress, not for the people. Poor people’s houses are visible under Hydra, but not the house of Revanth Reddy’s brother Tirupathi Reddy. They are imposing arbitrary RR taxes and doing settlements.”
