Newly appointed government whips in Telangana met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad in a courtesy meeting following their recent appointments in the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.
MLCs Addanki Dayakar and Balmuri Venkat Narsinga Rao, along with MLAs Vemula Veeresham, Yennam Srinivas Reddy, and Vijaya Ramana Rao, called on the Chief Minister. He congratulated them on their new responsibilities.
According to official inputs, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the role of government whips in ensuring smooth functioning of legislative proceedings and effective implementation of government policies.
The appointments of government whips were recently completed in Telangana, and they are expected to play a crucial role in coordinating legislative business in both Houses.
