Career Cards Launched for Children with Special Needs in New Delhi
ప్రత్యేక అవసరాల పిల్లల కోసం కెరీర్ మార్గదర్శక కార్డులను న్యూ ఢిల్లీలో ప్రారంభించారు. విద్యాశాఖ కార్యదర్శి సంజయ్ కుమార్ ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు.
Career Cards for Children with Special Needs were launched in New Delhi by Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar to support inclusive career guidance.
న్యూ ఢిల్లీలోని కర్తవ్య భవన్-2లో విద్యాశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రత్యేక అవసరాల పిల్లల కోసం కెరీర్ కార్డులను ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని పాఠశాల విద్య మరియు అక్షరాస్యత విభాగం కార్యదర్శి సంజయ్ కుమార్ ప్రారంభించారు. సమగ్ర విద్యా విధానం ద్వారా ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి సమాన అవకాశాలు కల్పించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ చర్య చేపట్టినట్లు తెలిపారు.
జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం 2020 అమలులో భాగంగా, ప్రత్యేక అవసరాలున్న పిల్లలకు సమాన అవకాశాలు, జీవితాంతం నేర్చుకునే అవకాశాలు, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను పెంచడం ముఖ్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా ఏ విద్యార్థి కూడా వెనుకబడకుండా ఉండేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని వివరించారు.
ఈ కెరీర్ కార్డులను యూనిసెఫ్, ప్రథమ్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ ఫౌండేషన్, ఎన్సీఈఆర్టీ, పీఎస్ఎస్సీఐవీఈ మరియు వికలాంగుల జాతీయ సంస్థల సహకారంతో అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. కార్యక్రమంలో సీబీఎస్ఈ, కేవీఎస్, ఎన్వీఎస్, ఎన్సీఈఆర్టీ ప్రతినిధులు మరియు ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్డులు అన్ని రకాల వికలాంగతలున్న పిల్లలకు అనుకూలంగా రూపొందించబడ్డాయి. వీటి ద్వారా కెరీర్ అవగాహన, మార్గదర్శకత్వం పెంపొందించడమే ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం.
The initiative was launched at Kartavya Bhawan-2 in New Delhi under the Department of School Education and Literacy. Secretary Sanjay Kumar highlighted that the programme aligns with the vision of inclusive education under the National Education Policy 2020.
He stated that the objective is to provide equitable career pathways, lifelong learning opportunities, and better participation in the workforce for children with special needs. The initiative aims to ensure that no learner is left behind in the journey towards a developed India.
The Career Cards have been developed by UNICEF in collaboration with Pratham Education Foundation, NCERT, PSSCIVE, and national institutes for disabilities. Senior officials from CBSE, KVS, NVS, and other institutions were present during the launch.
These cards are designed to promote inclusive career awareness and guidance across all categories of disabilities, helping students explore suitable career options effectively.
