హైదరాబాద్లో శాసనసభ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాల సందర్భంగా నిర్వహించిన ప్రజాప్రతినిధుల సాంస్కృతిక వేడుకలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి జ్యోతి ప్రజ్వలన చేసి ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం రవీంద్రభారతిలో క్రీడలు, సాంస్కృతిక శాఖల ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరిగింది.
ఈ వేడుకల్లో మండలి చైర్మన్ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క, పలువురు మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు పాల్గొన్నారు. ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు ప్రదర్శించిన కళా ప్రదర్శనలు ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రజా సమస్యలతో ఎప్పుడూ బిజీగా ఉండే ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు క్రీడలు, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొనడం ద్వారా విద్యార్థులకు స్ఫూర్తిగా నిలుస్తారని తెలిపారు. విద్యార్థి దశలో ఉన్న ప్రతిభను చాలామంది తర్వాత మరిచిపోతున్నారని అన్నారు.
ఇటీవలి కాలంలో విద్యార్థులు వ్యసనాలకు లోనవుతున్న పరిస్థితిని ప్రస్తావించిన సీఎం, వారి ప్రతిభను వెలికితీయడానికి గ్రామీణ స్థాయి నుంచి రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి వరకు సీఎం కప్ పోటీలను నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. కేవలం చదువుల్లోనే కాదు, క్రీడల్లో రాణించినా మంచి భవిష్యత్తు సాధ్యమేనని సూచించారు.
ఉమ్మడి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కాలంలో శాసనసభ సమావేశాల సందర్భంగా నిర్వహించే ఈ సంప్రదాయాన్ని తెలంగాణ ఏర్పడిన తర్వాత మళ్లీ పునరుద్ధరించినట్లు తెలిపారు. రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా అందరూ ఇలాంటి కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొనాలని కోరారు.
రెండు రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన ఈ స్పోర్ట్స్ మరియు సాంస్కృతిక వేడుకల్లో విజేతలకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి చేతుల మీదుగా బహుమతులు అందజేశారు. ఫుట్బాల్ మ్యాచ్లో ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్లేయర్ ఆఫ్ ది మ్యాచ్ అవార్డును అందుకున్నారు.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated a cultural programme for public representatives by lighting the ceremonial lamp during the Assembly budget session events. The programme was organised at Ravindra Bharathi under the Sports and Cultural departments.
The event was attended by Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukender Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with ministers, MLAs, and MLCs. Cultural performances by public representatives drew appreciation from the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that public representatives, despite their busy schedules addressing public issues, participating in sports and cultural activities would inspire students across Telangana. He noted that many individuals forget their talents after settling into professional life.
Highlighting concerns over rising student addictions, he said the government has introduced CM Cup competitions from rural to state levels to identify and nurture hidden talent. He emphasised that success is not limited to academics, and excellence in sports can also ensure a bright future.
He also mentioned that such cultural traditions, once part of the Assembly sessions in the united Andhra Pradesh, were revived in Telangana following requests from legislative leaders. He urged all representatives to participate beyond political differences.
Winners of the two-day sports and cultural meet were felicitated by the Chief Minister. Revanth Reddy also received the Player of the Match award for his performance in a football match.
