న్యూఢిల్లీ కేంద్రంగా విద్యా రంగంలో కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. కేంద్ర విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి ధర్మేంద్ర ప్రధాన్ ఏప్రిల్ 1న తరగతులు 3 నుంచి 8 వరకు కంప్యూటేషనల్ థింకింగ్ మరియు కృత్రిమ మేధస్సు (AI) పాఠ్యాంశాన్ని ప్రారంభించనున్నారు.
జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం 2020కు అనుగుణంగా ఈ కొత్త పాఠ్యాంశాన్ని విద్యార్థులకు భవిష్యత్ నైపుణ్యాలు అందించేందుకు రూపొందించారు. ప్రాథమిక స్థాయిలోనే విద్యార్థులకు లాజికల్ థింకింగ్, ప్రాబ్లమ్ సాల్వింగ్, డిజిటల్ అవగాహన పెంపు లక్ష్యంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా పాఠశాల విద్యలో సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేయాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. ముఖ్యంగా తెలంగాణ వంటి రాష్ట్రాల్లో కూడా ఈ పాఠ్యాంశం అమలు ద్వారా విద్యార్థులు కొత్త నైపుణ్యాలను నేర్చుకునే అవకాశాలు పెరుగుతాయి.
కేంద్ర విద్యాశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరిగే ఈ కార్యక్రమం న్యూఢిల్లీలో సాయంత్రం 4 గంటలకు ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రభుత్వ మరియు ప్రైవేట్ పాఠశాలల్లో ఈ పాఠ్యాంశాన్ని దశలవారీగా అమలు చేయనున్నారు.
డిజిటల్ యుగానికి అనుగుణంగా విద్యార్థులను సిద్ధం చేయడంలో ఇది కీలక అడుగుగా నిపుణులు భావిస్తున్నారు.

A significant step has been taken in India’s education sector as Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is set to launch the Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (AI) curriculum for Classes III to VIII on April 1 in New Delhi.
The initiative is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aims to equip students with future-ready skills from an early stage. The curriculum focuses on enhancing logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and digital awareness among school students.
The central government intends to strengthen technology integration in school education through this program. States including Telangana are expected to benefit as students gain early exposure to emerging technologies and digital skills.
The launch event will take place at 4:00 PM in New Delhi under the Ministry of Education. The curriculum will be implemented in a phased manner across government and private schools nationwide.
