No Petrol Shortage in Telangana, Dealers Clarify Amid Panic Buying
హైదరాబాద్ సహా తెలంగాణలో పెట్రోల్ కొరత ఉందన్న వార్తల నేపథ్యంలో పెట్రోలియం డీలర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ స్పష్టత ఇచ్చింది. Across Telangana including Hyderabad, fuel dealers clarified that there is no petrol shortage despite panic reports.
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ కొరత ఉందన్న ప్రచారం నేపథ్యంలో పెట్రోలియం డీలర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ స్పందించింది. అధ్యక్షుడు మర్రి అమరేందర్ రెడ్డి ప్రకారం, రాష్ట్రంలో ఇంధన నిల్వలు సమృద్ధిగా ఉన్నాయని తెలిపారు. HPCL, IOCL, BPCL సంస్థల వద్ద పూర్తి స్థాయిలో స్టాక్ అందుబాటులో ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇటీవల సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో వ్యాప్తి చెందిన తప్పుడు వార్తల కారణంగా ప్రజలు అవసరానికి మించి పెట్రోల్ కొనుగోలు చేస్తున్నారని చెప్పారు. దీనివల్ల కొన్ని బంకుల్లో తాత్కాలికంగా స్టాక్ తగ్గుదల కనిపిస్తోందని వివరించారు. సాధారణ పరిస్థితుల్లో సరఫరా వ్యవస్థ ఎటువంటి అంతరాయం లేకుండా కొనసాగుతోందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ను కేన్లలో నిల్వ చేయడం PESO నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధమని ఆయన హెచ్చరించారు. ఇళ్లలో ఇంధనం నిల్వ చేయడం అగ్నిప్రమాదాలకు దారితీసే ప్రమాదం ఉందని చెప్పారు. ప్రజలు అపోహలకు గురికాకుండా అవసరానికి సరిపడేంత మాత్రమే కొనుగోలు చేయాలని సూచించారు.
ప్రజలు తప్పుడు వార్తలను నమ్మకుండా, వాటిని పంచుకోవద్దని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ప్రజల సహకారంతోనే సరఫరా వ్యవస్థ సజావుగా కొనసాగుతుందని తెలిపారు. తెలంగాణలో ఇంధన కొరత లేదని స్పష్టంగా వెల్లడించారు.
Amid widespread reports of petrol shortage across Telangana, the Petroleum Dealers Association has clarified that there is no shortage of fuel in the state. President Marri Amarender Reddy stated that petrol and diesel stocks are sufficiently available.
According to the association, oil companies such as HPCL, IOCL, and BPCL have adequate fuel reserves, and the supply system is functioning normally without disruptions.
However, due to misinformation circulating on social media, people have started purchasing fuel in excess, leading to a temporary dip in stock levels at some petrol bunks. This panic buying has created a false impression of shortage.
The association warned that storing fuel in cans violates PESO regulations and can pose serious fire hazards at homes. Citizens have been advised to purchase only the required quantity and avoid unnecessary panic.
Officials also urged the public not to believe or share false information. They emphasized that fuel supply will remain stable with public cooperation and there is no need for concern regarding petrol or diesel availability in Telangana
