నల్లమల అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో బంజారాల ఆరాధ్యదైవం సంత్ సేవాలాల్ మహరాజ్ పుణ్యక్షేత్రాన్ని నిర్మించనున్నట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రకటించారు. వచ్చే ఏడాది సేవాలాల్ జయంతిని అక్కడే నిర్వహించేలా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశించారు.

Chief Minister announced construction of a pilgrimage centre for Sant Sevalal Maharaj in Nallamala forest region and directed officials to plan celebrations of Sevalal Jayanti there next year.

రాష్ట్ర గిరిజన సంక్షేమ శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో బంజారా భవన్‌లో జరిగిన సంత్ సేవాలాల్ మహరాజ్ జయంతి కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ నల్లమల అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో బంజారాల కోసం ప్రత్యేక పుణ్యక్షేత్రాన్ని నిర్మిస్తామని తెలిపారు. ఆదిలాబాద్‌లో నాగోబా దేవాలయం, మేడారంలో సమ్మక్క-సారలమ్మ పుణ్యక్షేత్రం ఉన్నప్పటికీ బంజారాలకు ప్రత్యేక క్షేత్రం లేకపోవడం దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని 20 ఎకరాల భూమిని ఇప్పటికే కేటాయించామని చెప్పారు. అక్కడ బంజారాల సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాలు ప్రతిబింబించేలా ప్రముఖ పర్యాటక క్షేత్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి అద్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్, ఎంపీ పొరిక బాలరాం సహా పలువురు ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు. తండాలు, గూడాలకు బీటీ రోడ్డు కనెక్టివిటీ తప్పనిసరిగా కల్పించాలని, ప్రతి గ్రామ పంచాయతీలో పాఠశాల, పంచాయతీ భవనం ఉండేలా ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు.

తాగునీరు, విద్యుత్ సౌకర్యాలపై కూడా ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టాలని, అటవీ ప్రాంతాల్లో విద్యుత్ అందుబాటులో లేని చోట సోలార్ పంపుసెట్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని తెలిపారు. గిరిజన సంక్షేమానికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తున్నదని చెప్పారు.

సంత్ సేవాలాల్ మహరాజ్ ఉపదేశాలు గిరిజన సమాజానికి మార్గదర్శకంగా నిలిచాయని పేర్కొంటూ జయంతి ఉత్సవాలను అధికారికంగా నిర్వహించడం ప్రభుత్వ బాధ్యత అని అన్నారు. కార్యక్రమంలో సంత్ సేవాలాల్ మహరాజ్ విగ్రహానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు. బంజారాలు ప్రదర్శించిన ఉత్పత్తులను కూడా పరిశీలించారు.

At the Sant Sevalal Maharaj Jayanti event held at Banjara Bhavan under the Tribal Welfare Department, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced a dedicated pilgrimage centre for Banjaras in the Nallamala forest region. Noting that Banjaras lack a specific shrine unlike Nagoba temple in Adilabad and Sammakka-Saralamma shrine in Medaram, he said 20 acres of land had already been allocated and directed officials to develop it as a major cultural and tourism centre reflecting Banjara traditions.

Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, MP Porika Balram and other representatives attended the programme. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to ensure BT road connectivity to all tandas and gudems and provide school and panchayat buildings in every village panchayat.

He stressed the need for drinking water and electricity facilities and said solar pump sets would be installed in forest areas lacking power supply. The government is prioritising tribal welfare, he added. The Chief Minister paid floral tribute to Sant Sevalal Maharaj’s statue and reviewed products displayed by Banjaras.
