Shamirpet Temple Festival Highlights
శామీర్పేట వార్డు దేవరయాంజాల్లో సీతారామచంద్రస్వామి జాతర ఉత్సాహంగా జరగగా, రథోత్సవంలో భక్తులు పెద్ద ఎత్తున పాల్గొన్నారు.
Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy Jatara was celebrated with enthusiasm in Devarayanzal of Shamirpet ward, with large participation in the chariot procession.
శామీర్పేట వార్డు దేవరయాంజాల్ పరిధిలో సీతారామచంద్రస్వామి జాతర కన్నులపండువగా జరిగింది. బుధవారం రాత్రి ప్రారంభమైన ఉత్సవాల్లో భక్తులు భారీ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు. గురువారం తెల్లవారుజామున స్వామివారి రథోత్సవాన్ని ప్రధాన వీధుల్లో ఊరేగించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా భక్తులు మంగళహారతులు పట్టి, నీటితో సాకలు పెట్టి మొక్కులు తీర్చుకున్నారు.
జాతరలో చక్రతీర్థం, పూర్ణాహుతి, దోపుసేవ, పుష్పయాగం వంటి పూజా కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలను ముగించారు. భక్తులకు పులిహోర ప్రసాదం పంపిణీ చేశారు. యన్ వై గిరి బృందం, మహిళా కళాకారులు పాటలు, కోలాటం కార్యక్రమాలతో ఆకట్టుకున్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఆర్టీఏ సభ్యుడు జైపాల్ రెడ్డి, ఆలయ మాజీ చైర్మన్లు, మాజీ ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, వివిధ పార్టీల నాయకులు, స్థానిక ప్రజలు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఉత్సవాలు ప్రశాంతంగా ముగిసినట్లు నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు.
The Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy Jatara was celebrated grandly in Devarayanzal under Shamirpet ward. Devotees gathered in large numbers from Wednesday night to participate in the festivities. The chariot procession was taken through the main streets early Thursday morning, where devotees offered prayers and fulfilled their vows.
Rituals such as Chakrateertham, Poornahuti, Dopu Seva, and Pushpayagam were performed, marking the conclusion of the Brahmotsavam. Prasadam was distributed to devotees during the event. Cultural performances including songs and Kolatam by local artists added to the festive atmosphere.
RTA member Jaipal Reddy, former temple chairpersons, former public representatives, political leaders, and local residents attended the celebrations. Organizers confirmed that the event concluded peacefully.
