CM Revanth Reddy: Women Reservation Soon in Assembly Polls – Plant at Least Two Saplings in Every House
హైదరాబాద్‌లో వనమహోత్సవం 2025 ప్రారంభోత్సవంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడారు. ఈ ఏడాది 18 కోట్ల మొక్కలు నాటే లక్ష్యాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం పెట్టుకుందని చెప్పారు. ప్రతి ఇంట్లో కనీసం రెండు మొక్కలు నాటి, వాటిని పిల్లల్లాగే సంరక్షించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
Speaking at the inaugural of Vanamahotsavam 2025 in Hyderabad, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated the government aims to plant 18 crore saplings this year and urged citizens to plant at least two in every home and nurture them like their children.
అమ్మ పేరుతో ఒక మొక్కను నాటాలని ప్రధాని పిలుపునిచ్చిన విషయాన్ని గుర్తుచేసిన సీఎం, అమ్మలు కూడా పిల్లల పేరుతో మొక్కలు నాటాలని సూచించారు. తెలంగాణను పచ్చగా మార్చేందుకు ఇది ముఖ్యమైన దశ అని తెలిపారు.
Recalling the Prime Minister’s call to plant a tree in one’s mother’s name, CM Revanth encouraged mothers to plant saplings in their children’s names too, as a step towards greening Telangana.
మహిళా అభివృద్ధి విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వ అనేక చర్యలను సీఎం ప్రస్తావించారు. సోలార్ ప్లాంట్ల ఏర్పాటు నుంచి ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల నిర్వహణ బాధ్యతలు, ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల యజమానులుగా మహిళలను తయారు చేయడం వరకు ప్రభుత్వం మహిళల కోసం అనేక విధానాలు అమలు చేస్తోందన్నారు.
The CM highlighted various initiatives aimed at empowering women—handing over school operations, setting up solar plants, encouraging women to become RTC bus owners, and providing platforms in tech hubs like Hitec City to market their products.
ఈ ఏడాది మహిళా సంఘాలకు రూ.21 వేల కోట్ల రుణాలు ఇచ్చామని, కోటి మహిళలను కోటీశ్వరులను చేయడమే లక్ష్యమని తెలిపారు. పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో మహిళా సంఘాల్లో చేరాలని సూచించారు.
He noted that ₹21,000 crore in loans had been sanctioned to women’s groups this year alone, and the goal is to empower 1 crore women to become crorepatis. He urged urban women to actively participate in women’s self-help groups.
త్వరలో జరిగే అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో మహిళలకు రిజర్వేషన్ తీసుకువస్తామని ప్రకటించారు. రాబోయే ఎన్నికల్లో 60 ఎమ్మెల్యే సీట్లు మహిళలకే ఇవ్వనున్నట్టు తెలిపారు.
In a significant announcement, CM Revanth confirmed that the upcoming assembly elections will include reservations for women, and 60 MLA seats will be allocated to women candidates.
