Telangana Engineering College Fees 2025-28 Finalized, Top Colleges Cross ₹1.83 Lakh
తెలంగాణలో ఇంజనీరింగ్ కాలేజీల ట్యూషన్ ఫీజులను ప్రభుత్వం 2025-26 నుంచి 2027-28 విద్యా సంవత్సరాల వరకు ఖరారు చేసింది. కొత్త ఫీజుల ప్రకారం కొన్ని కళాశాలల్లో ఫీజు రూ.లక్ష దాటగా, గరిష్టంగా రూ.1.83 లక్షల వరకు నిర్ణయించారు.

తెలంగాణలో ఇంజనీరింగ్ విద్యార్థులకు సంబంధించిన ట్యూషన్ ఫీజులపై రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టత ఇచ్చింది. 2025-26 నుంచి 2027-28 విద్యా సంవత్సరాల వరకు అమల్లో ఉండేలా కొత్త ఫీజులను రాష్ట్ర ఉన్నత విద్యాశాఖ ప్రకటించింది.
రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా గరిష్ట ట్యూషన్ ఫీజు రూ.1.83 లక్షలుగా, కనిష్ఠ ఫీజు రూ.45 వేలుగా నిర్ణయిస్తూ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. ప్రతి మూడు సంవత్సరాలకు ఒకసారి తెలంగాణ అడ్మిషన్స్ అండ్ ఫీ రెగ్యులేటరీ కమిటీ (TAFRC) ఈ ఫీజులను సమీక్షించి నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటుంది. చివరిసారిగా 2022-23లో ఫీజులు ఖరారయ్యాయి. గత ఏడాది ఈ ప్రక్రియ జరగాల్సి ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఆలస్యంగా ఈ ఏడాది ప్రకటించారు.
తెలంగాణలో మొత్తం 160 ఇంజనీరింగ్ కళాశాలలు ఉన్నాయి. గత సంవత్సరంతో పోలిస్తే ఈసారి 69 కాలేజీల్లో ట్యూషన్ ఫీజులు రూ.50 వేల నుంచి రూ.62 వేల వరకు పెరిగాయి. మరో 70 కళాశాలల్లో పాత ఫీజులనే కొనసాగించారు. 19 కళాశాలల్లో ఫీజులను రూ.3,500 నుంచి రూ.45 వేల వరకు తగ్గించారు.
ఫీజుల పంపిణీ ప్రకారం రాష్ట్రంలో 35 కళాశాలల్లో ట్యూషన్ ఫీజు రూ.లక్షకు పైగా ఉంది. 33 కళాశాలల్లో ఫీజు రూ.50 వేల లోపే ఉంది. మిగిలిన 92 కళాశాలల్లో ఫీజులు రూ.50 వేల నుంచి రూ.లక్ష మధ్య ఉన్నాయి.
అత్యధిక ఫీజులు ఉన్న ఇంజనీరింగ్ కళాశాలలలో సీబీఐటీ రూ.1,83,000తో మొదటి స్థానంలో ఉంది. వాసవి రూ.1,75,000, ఎంజీటీ రూ.1,67,000, సీవీఆర్ రూ.1,63,000, జి.నారాయణమ్మ రూ.1,62,000 ఫీజులతో తదుపరి స్థానాల్లో ఉన్నాయి. గోకరాజు రంగరాజు రూ.1,60,500, వీఎస్ఆర్ విజ్ఞానజ్యోతి రూ.1,59,600, బీవీఆర్ ఐటీ రూ.1,46,600, కిట్స్ వరంగల్ రూ.1,46,200, ఎంవీఎస్ఆర్ రూ.1,43,800గా నిర్ణయించారు.
ఇతర ప్రముఖ కళాశాలల్లో బీపీఆర్ఐటీ మహిళా కాలేజ్ రూ.1,43,500, ఎస్ఆర్ యూనివర్సిటీ రూ.1,41,000, వర్థమాన్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ కాలేజ్ రూ.1,40,000, శ్రీదేవి మహిళా కాలేజ్ రూ.1,37,000, శ్రీవర ఇంజనీరింగ్ కాలేజ్ రూ.1,33,000గా ఫీజులు నిర్ణయించారు. కేశవ్ మెమోరియల్ రూ.1,29,200, గురునానక్ రూ.1,29,000, ముఫకమ్జా రూ.1,25,000, విజ్ఞాన్ రూ.1,23,000, గీతాంజలి రూ.1,21,000గా ట్యూషన్ ఫీజులు ఖరారయ్యాయి.
The Telangana government has issued orders finalizing tuition fees for engineering colleges for the academic years 2025-26 to 2027-28. The decision was taken after a review by the Telangana Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC), which revises the fee structure every three years.
According to the notification, the maximum annual tuition fee has been fixed at ₹1.83 lakh, while the minimum fee has been set at ₹45,000. The previous revision was done in the 2022-23 academic year, and the latest revision was expected last year but was delayed.
There are about 160 engineering colleges across Telangana. Compared to the previous academic cycle, fees have increased by ₹50,000 to ₹62,000 in 69 colleges. Around 70 colleges will continue with the existing fee structure, while 19 colleges have reduced their fees by amounts ranging from ₹3,500 to ₹45,000.
Data released by the higher education department shows that 35 colleges now charge more than ₹1 lakh in tuition fees, while 33 colleges have fees below ₹50,000. The remaining 92 colleges fall within the ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh range.
Among the institutions with the highest fees, CBIT tops the list with ₹1,83,000 per year. It is followed by Vasavi College of Engineering at ₹1,75,000, MGT at ₹1,67,000, CVR College of Engineering at ₹1,63,000, and G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology at ₹1,62,000.
Other colleges with relatively higher fees include Gokaraju Rangaraju Engineering College at ₹1,60,500, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology at ₹1,59,600, BVRIT at ₹1,46,600, KITS Warangal at ₹1,46,200, and MVSR Engineering College at ₹1,43,800, among others.
